King Kebab
Think this may be what you're after. In True Romance there are three different xylophone pieces, but are all really just variances on the same song. All are composed, produced and probably performed by Hans Zimmer. They are as follows; 1 - "You're So Cool" - 2 - "Stars At Dawn" - cannae find a link but sure you can download it now 3 - "Amid The Chaos Of The Day" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1aPwGFNJSs
KnightswoodBear
I'm sure that the xylophone music from True Romance is a variation on the music from the Martin Sheen/Sissy Spacek movie Badlands. I think Maybe.

Septentrional Wasp
I can't believe someone has just bumped this. At work the other day and heard the theme song for the World Cup. Guy in the office starts whistling it and I think "where do I know that from?" At computer so starts "googling". At first I was sure it was from a western but had no luck after about ten minutes looking through "whistled song in western movie" Then I think gangster movie, but could I f*ck remember what one. I'm away from the computer for two minutes then it clicks, "cockeye's song!" Can't get it out my head now, but I don't mind, because that feeling when I remembered the song will go with me to the grave
