Playing football with friends is probably considered and enjoyable hobby by most French people (and indeed, almost everyone else). Little does he know he's signed up for a 60 minute graft-a-thon where 10 people who know, but don't actually like each other shout and kick each other under the guise of 'a good time'. A few French lads were staying at my uni last year while going for trials with clubs over here. From what I heard they were technically very good but lost most 5s matches through just not working hard enough. Must say I loved P&B fives last week. When I play with my friends it's good but they just don't want to win as much as I do. I can't think of anything that sums up the endemic Scottish problem of 'praised for working hard, but no technical ability' than Glasgow Area 5's.
