AyrshireTon
Love is all Around - The Wets That song really p*ssed me off for ripping off REM on two counts. On the REM video "This Film is On" there is the video of "Radio Song" featuring the band playing the track in a room whilst passing bits of card around (onto which film is being priojected). Then comes a great MTV unplugged live version of "Love is all around" with Mick Mills singing the lead. Soon after, the W*nks release "Love is all around" and the video features......the band playing the track in a room whilst passing bits of card around (onto which film is being projected). shetlandbairn
Otis Redding - A Change Is Gonna Come ... (I could have listed five of his cover versions alone. Easy) Oasis - I Am The Walrus ... (I think most of their covers are awful but this version is far ahead of the original - which I don't rate at all) Aretha Franklin - I Say A Little Prayer Stevie Wonder - We Can Work It Out Black Crowes - Hard To Handle David Bowie and Mick Jagger doing Dancing In The Street has to be the worst. MattBairn
Metallica - Tuesdays Gone Metallica - Turn the Page Metallica - Whiskey in the Jar Guns n Roses - Live and Let Die Guns n Roses - Knockin' on Heavens Door I was going to change this as it only encompasses 2 bands. But after thinking about it, these are actually my favourite cover versions (although it is subject to change, depending on my mood) Every single one is fantastic.
