The Naitch
Anderson is struggling big time here ... it will take a comeback of epic proportions for him to win this.
RedWeb
Both players look like they're running on empty. Anderson playing as bad as I can remember seeing him for a while.
RedWeb
7-3 Taylor at the break. Looks like 11-4/11-5 final score. Actually turning into a disappointing match.

Aye, Taylor's putting out his B game tonight and is still comfortable.
RedWeb
Anderson needs 100 and hits 1 with the first dart. He's having a nightmare.
The Naitch
Absolutely shocking from Anderson ... this is so easy for Taylor.
RedWeb
Anderson seems to have given up mentally. Wasted so many darts. On top of that Taylor doesn't miss doubles and he'll always make mincemeat of Anderson unless Gary sorts his finishing.
RedWeb
Anderson is being mind fucked by Taylor. Hopefully, he's not about to become the new Adrian Lewis. Too much smiling from Anderson. Should be pissed off, not laughing. Edited June 6, 2010 by RedWeb
The Naitch
121 bull finish from Taylor wins him the title.
RedWeb
11-5 Taylor. Anderson just seemed happy to be there. Didn't look like he really believed he could win. Too much head shaking, too much laughing and joking. Taylor won at a canter. Anderson is better than that and needs to learn from his spanking.
F_T_Y
What a joke.Anderson didnt even turn up there.Looks like he was happy with his twenty grand and hes laughing all the way to the bank.
Neilly
The Heat gave Taylor a far better game and at least gave him something to think about. Anderson was just shocking in the final really and for me a bit unprofessional once there was about a distance of 4 legs between them.
Marshmallo
Can't believe I was in London all weekend and missed that performance from Ovens, why can't he produce this on a more regular basis? Give him a spot in the Premier League and I'm sure it'll help him kick on
The Naitch
http://www.pdc.tv/page/PremierLeagueDetail/0,,10180~2067537,00.html Not sure that I agree with the new selection criteria for the Premier League, though I suppose that it all but guarantees Gary Anderson a slot.
Neilly
Be a bit shit if Jenkins is still in it next year unless he somehow has an upturn in fortunes in the next 6 months. I would imagine Nicholson is a certainty as well if he is still doing relatively well in the bigger tournaments and continuing to get mega heat from the crowd.
RedWeb
Not sure that I agree with the new selection criteria for the Premier League, though I suppose that it all but guarantees Gary Anderson a slot. PDC have got to get the balance right between bringing in "characters" who are genuinely good at Darts and complete clowns like Mardle who are more interested in inflatable palm trees than hitting treble 20. Must say I love watching the Premier League but Terry Jenkins matches did tend to get avoided. I'd have Anderson in there as the PL would make or break him so let's find out. He's also liked by the crowds. Edited June 10, 2010 by RedWeb

Ayres and Ovens also had decent follow-ons from last week's tournament.
RedWeb
Gary Anderson 6-1 Mark Walsh Aye, good stuff from Gary. Particularly pleasing to see him pump King again. As an aside these "Opens" must be hard on the throwing arm with 7 best-of-11 matches to play in one day. Makes the UK Open look like a cake walk. The Naitch
Players Championship (Barnsley) Fourth Round Denis Ovens 6-2 Wes Newton Andy Hamilton 6-0 Andy Jenkins Mark Walsh 6-3 Roland Scholten Steve Brown 6-1 Vincent van der Voort Ronnie Baxter 6-2 Simon Whitlock Dennis Priestley 6-5 Justin Pipe Alan Tabern 6-5 Gary Anderson Adrian Lewis 6-2 Joe Cullen Quarter Finals Denis Ovens 6-5 Andy Hamilton Mark Walsh 6-0 Steve Brown Ronnie Baxter 6-3 Dennis Priestley Adrian Lewis 6-5 Alan Tabern Semi Finals Denis Ovens 6-3 Mark Walsh Ronnie Baxter 6-0 Adrian Lewis Final Ronnie Baxter 6-5 Denis Ovens Excellent win for Ronnie ... he had to hold off a late fight back from Den after being 5-2 up on Ovens. What a run that was from Baxter too - he disposed of Par Riihonen (Ally Pally regular), Michael Smith (had a great UK Open), Mark Dudbridge, Simon Whitlock, Dennis Priestley and Adrian Lewis before defeating Denis Ovens in the Final. Denis Ovens really has seen a dramatic upturn in form over the last few weeks, as if i'm right in saying, he hadn't had the best start to the year in terms of results?
