Marshmallo
A wee bit of Dana action today as well. Pleasing. -
H_B
Rand is doing a Burnett today... Very similar game to Part's ass-whooping of him yesterday. Average must be 10 points down.
Fraser Fyvie
I like this crowd some of their songs are funny As long as they're not putting the players off it's fine IMO. -
Davis Love III
They are being paid for it? What do you expect them to say? There are numerous ways of conveying how loud the crowd is. "The crowd are making their voices heard", "it's deafening in here". Or maybe just ignore it completely. All that is preferable to the "amazing atmosphere" and "this is what darts is about" bull that they usually come out with. This is the same argument as "Why do Sky's commentators try and pretend Swansea v Wigan has been a thrill a minute"? Answer - Because they are there to talk up the game, however shit it is. And that includes the atmosphere.

There is a fine line between talking something up and just using hyperbole for the sake of it. You're quite right, not all matches in any sport lend themselves to be particularly creative, but sometimes they do go that little bit too far.
Davis Love III
What a 167 from Colin Lloyd! Absolutely sensational stuff that might just have been the knockout blow to Scott Rand.
Marshmallo
No bad 167. -
Neilly
Someone may have as well just strolled up and kicked Rand straight in the balls there. Same thing. Class from Lloyd thought Rand done the hard work there with the set up.
Davis Love III
Someone may have as well just strolled up and kicked Rand straight in the balls there. There's probably a decent enough queue of people who would relish the chance to do that.

Davis Love III
Colin Lloyd, the owner of the most impressive gut in darts, comes through an entertaining enough battle there to progress into the last 16 to face either our great hero Gary Anderson or Devon Petersen. As for Scott Rand, it'll be interesting to see how he progresses into 2012. You'd fancy him to do well on the Tour so it's likely we'll see him in a number of tv events next year.

Neilly
Could be the kiss of death but Gando doesn't look nervous and looks raring to go. Fancy him to put in a big performance tonight.

Hopefully he's done quickly as the football will be going on at 7.45. -
Neilly
He may not be done by 7:45 but it shouldn't take too long to mop this one up.

ChoppeReid
Anderson made it hard for himself there! That 5th set was a shocker and realistically he should really be winning that match 4-0. At least he stuck in and won a few crucial legs when it mattered. Take it everyone is watching the Old Firm match!
