Poet of the Macabre
A really excellent night of arrow flinging! Lewis was sensational. Van der Voort played great and got thumped. King-Evans was a great game and Wade survives more match darts and a 0-3 deficit. Roll on Christmas for food presents and then more darts!
JMDP
I was at this for the night of first round matches of Wade, Webster, Painter and Newton. I have to say, it's just like it seems on telly - full of absolute wankstains. Thankfully, we were sitting on the tables beside a decentish group of people, so was still a good night. Don't know if I would go back to it though - any other darts tournaments people been to that have been better for atmosphere? -
F_T_Y
I went to the first night of the masters this year in Edinburgh. It was pretty laid back.I didn't see any trouble.
The Naitch
I'd say any night at the Matchplay would be brilliant as well. It's pretty much the only venue that hasn't been infested by a crowd of arseholes.

Neilly
I've been at the Matchplay the last three years and it's a good darts crowd. The amount of wallopers is creeping up a little as well but as long as you don't get landed next to them its great. Would have like to try UK Open but with it moved to Minehead next year that could prove tricky!

Neilly
Any chance of a seedy link that may work on a work's computer? pdc.tv is fucking me about.
The Naitch
Pipe was in control of the first set until the last 6 or so darts which let Petersen break throw. He's just hit a 121 to take the lead in the 2nd as well. Devon's kicking some arse so far.
The Naitch
2-0 Petersen. Four legs on the bounce for him.
The Naitch
Cracker of a 130 bull finish from Petersen to go 3-1 up.
ChoppeReid
That 130 was magnificent!
Half Rice Half Chips
Petersen's not bad, it's not all just for show with him.
The Naitch
Break of throw in the 5th, Devon just needs to hold his throw and he's in the last 16.
Marshmallo
Is this as good a standard as the PDC site is making it out to be? Both must be up near 100 averages. -
The Naitch
He's only gone and done it. That was a really good performance from Petersen.

Pipe didn't really turn up, for me. Had he been on the ball he'd have won that instead of Petersen.
Shuggie_Murray7
"You had them eating out the lap of your hand" What? Anyway, I always liked Petersen so glad he got through, just as long as he doesn't knock out any of my bets.
Neilly
Would be superb if Devon could beat Wade and get in to the Quarters what an achievement that would be. Not sure how far he needs to go in the tournament to get his tour card as he hasn't played the tour this year to my knowledge.
