Snakebite
http://www.sporcle.com/games/supercert/players-with-12--world-darts-championship-appearances Decent wee quiz I got 37/48 which is better than I thought. I got 43. Didn't miss any obvious ones. Two of them are not playing now and the other three aren't in the top 32 of the PDC or BDO.
F_T_Y
NIce draw for big hendo although van der voort has been playing better on tv lately. I wouldn't be suprised to see 10 seeds go out first round.Barney is no cert against wee rowby john. You would have to make Keegan Brown favourite against Part. Big Ben v Nicholson the unseeded player should be favourite also.
The Naitch
Klassen/Kist looks the tie of the round for me. As for the seeds I would expect Part, Beaton and Barney in particular to be in some trouble. Gerwyn Price is one to watch out for against Peter Wright he has been smashing it in his first year on the tour. Would agree that those folk will be in trouble. Fancy Darren Webster to get past Whitlock as well.

Davis Love III
As I like to do each year, a comparison between the World Championship from this year compared to five years ago. Which players have fallen away, gained, or even disappeared from the game entirely. Seeded Players - 2010 World Championship. Players in Bold are in the 2015 Field. Their Current Ranking Is In Brackets. 1. Phil Taylor (2) 2. Raymond van Barneveld (14) 3. James Wade (6) 4. John Part (31) 5. Mervyn King (10) 6. Terry Jenkins (16) 7. Ronnie Baxter (24) 8. Adrian Lewis (3) 9. Dennis Priestley (84) 10. Colin Lloyd (35) 11. Colin Osborne (52) 12. Alan Tabern (187) 13. Mark Walsh (41) 14. Andy Hamilton (12) 15. Kevin Painter (20) 16. Robert Thornton (9) 17. Wayne Mardle (N/A) 18. Vincent van der Voort (23) 19. Steve Beaton (21) 20. Peter Manley (N/A) 21. Mark Dudbridge (58) 22. Wayne Jones (37) 23. Denis Ovens (76) 24. Jelle Klaasen (30) 25. Wes Newton (13) 26. Jamie Caven (19) 27. Andy Smith (29) 28. Co Stompe (N/A) 29. Kirk Shepherd (101) 30. Michael van Gerwen (1) 31. Tony Eccles (N/A) 32. Roland Scholten (N/A) So, 13 of the PDC's Top 32 from 2010 aren't even in this year's Championship. Gary Anderson, Paul Nicholson, Peter Wright, Brendan Dolan, Mark Webster and Simon Whitlock were all unseeded qualifiers that year. They would soon supplant many of the PDC's old guard. Overall, of the 72 players who qualified for the Championship in 2010, only 29 are still there five years later. A startling turnover of players. Looking back ten years ago, as you would expect there is an even greater disparity in the field. Back then, 48 players qualified for the World Championship. PDC's Top 16 At The 2005 World Championship. 1. Colin Lloyd 2. Phil Taylor 3. Peter Manley 4. John Part 5. Roland Scholten 6. Ronnie Baxter 7. Kevin Painter 8. Wayne Mardle 9. Alan Warriner 10. Andy Jenkins 11. Dennis Smith 12. Denis Ovens 13. Mark Dudbridge 14. Steve Beaton 15. Dennis Priestley 16. Dave Askew Ten years on, Taylor, Part, Baxter, Painter and Beaton are the only ones still standing. Of the 48 that year, just 9 remain. The five mentioned above, along with James Wade, Andy Hamilton, Wes Newton and Wayne Jones. Time marches on!

The Naitch
Right, just 24 hours to go before the greatest show on earth gets started. Sky are going all out for it as well with the Sky Sports Darts channel starting tomorrow at 6am. They're showing EVERY one of the last 21 Finals before this year's tournament gets under way at 7pm. Bring it on!

Bully Wee Villa
Bet on Taylor cos I hate him so the money will at least console me if he wins. Had a couple of quid each way on Wade, Anderson and King. King seems a bit of a bellend but he's on good form (isn't he) and is 80-1.

Davis Love III
Tried it twice. The first attempt saw me christened: "Kakapo". Then, after understandably having another go, I was awarded the moniker of "Cross River Gorilla". I think it's time to give up...
