Andyboy
Good night of darts tonight. As an aside, how cool is Mervyn King's dad?
The Naitch
Merv is taking Wade to the cleaners so far. EDIT: 8-4 win for Merv in the end. Edited February 18, 2010 by The Naitch
Marshmallo
Haven't seen either of his matches but I'm very surprised at the two results James Wade has had so far. Fair enough he's had difficult matches, but this should really be his year to kick on and try and, to use a horrible Waddell-ism, become Tayloresque. If he is indeed back on the drink that it's a big disappointment. -

He's got Taylor next week so it ain't going to get any easier for him.
Neilly
Wade hasn't really been at the races for a long while now, he is capable of top 4 if he somehow pulls it together. King, Taylor and Lewis will get top four for me definitely but the other place could be anyone. Barney is hot and cold, Whitlock hasn't settled yet, Jenkins and Baxter I can't see stringing two or three wins on the bounce either.
DomDom
Barneveld ALWAYS seems to do enough even when he's not playing well, so I will be going for him taking a spot. Lewis, King, Taylor and Barney is my prediction. Lewis is one I'm not sure of though. I reckon his spot could easily end up with any of the other four men in the league.
The Naitch
Chris Mason's comeback was short lived ... he's lost 6-0 to Denis Ovens in the 1st round today. John Part's decline is continuing - he lost in the Prelim Round of a Players' Championship for the second time this season today.

Marshmallo
Chris Mason's comeback was short lived ... he's lost 6-0 to Denis Ovens in the 1st round today. Just bad luck with regards the draw on Mason's part. -
The Naitch
Just bad luck with regards the draw on Mason's part. Aye, but he's said himself that he should have done much better - it was a complete bottle job, to paraphrase his comments after the match. In saying that, Ovens did hit 12,13 and 14 darters during the match so it's hard to compete with that.
The Naitch
A few interesting matches in the 3rd round of today's UK Open Qualifiers with a Father/Son battle (Colin Monk vs Arron Monk) and the battle of the Wizards between Osborne and Whitlock. Chris Mason is also having a good run ... he's up against Alex Roy in the 3rd round having already disposed of Jelle Klaasen.

The Naitch
Good weekend for Merv King, winning both tournaments this weekend and picking up £12,000 in the process.
The Naitch
Round Three of the DPL comes from Belfast tonight, and here's the line-up: Mervyn King vs Ronnie Baxter Adrian Lewis vs Terry Jenkins Simon Whitlock vs Raymond van Barneveld Phil Taylor vs James Wade Some potential crackers in there ... I'll have it all on Sky+ for when I get home from work.
DomDom
The only match I feel comfy predicting is the King/Baxter match, as King has really turned it on this year. Doing well on the floor ( even before this weekend ) and reaching a TV final. He's the man to beat at the moment.
Neilly
4 'homes' for me tonight although I will only have money on Lewis, Merv King is way too short due to his recent run of form and of course Baxter can beat anyone on his day.
