DomDom
Andy Hamilton continues what has been a very consistant year for him. He keeps this up, he's gonna be a real danger at the majors, as if he wasn't already.

The Naitch
Easy enough day for Taylor, only dropping five legs on his way to victory in the UK Open Qualifier. Another good run caps off a great weekend for Mark Dudbridge and Jamie Caven continues to impress by taking out the likes of Wayne Jones, Wayne Mardle, Mark Webster, Gary Anderson and Dudbridge on his way to that Final appearance.

Neilly
Backed Barney at 6/4 which has disaster written all over it. When I back him he fucks up and when I don't he hits a scary average. Please change that tonight Raymond. Taylor/Barney/Lewis/Wade prections for tonight.
The Naitch
8-3 win for Taylor in the first match, not that I watched it - Fulham/Juve had my attention. Merv vs Barney should be good, though.
The Naitch
Merv raced ahead but, unusually, couldn't finish the job. Good recovery from Barney to secure a 7-7 draw.
Neilly
My luck with Barney continues! Crowd are an embarrassment in this Lewis/Baxter game. The majority of these idiots have faced away from the action shouting " Get yer tits out for the lads ". Great stuff.

EDIT: Great 95 bull finish from Lewis to get himself back into this one. Edited March 18, 2010 by The Naitch
The Naitch
Brilliant 127 from Aidy to square things up at 6-6.
Neilly
Lewis is the fuckin' boy like! Different gravy there must have won 5 or 6 legs on the bounce to win the game 8-6. Great 118 to finish the game, you just knew that third dart was going in as soon as he hit the first two.
The Naitch
Spirited comeback from Aidy to beat Rocket Ronnie 8-6.
Neilly
4-2 Whitlock at the break. Still think Whitlock is here for the taking but Wade is nowhere near kicking into gear yet.

The Naitch
Now that's the Wade that won this competition last year - SEVEN legs on the bounce secures a 8-4 win.
Neilly
To be honest that is nowhere near the James Wade that won the PL last year. Glad to see him getting his first win but I reckon the Muffin Man could have taken Whitlock tonight.

Yeah, did overstep it a little there - certainly it was a more confident, assured display from Wade than we've seen in recent weeks. Gutted that I didn't do the Super 6 tonight as I predicted all four scores correctly on another site, however you've got to also guess the No. of 180s and the highest checkout on that so no doubt I would have got those wrong to bugger up my chances.
The Naitch
Players Championship - Crawley Fourth Round Mark Walsh 6-1 Aodhagan O'Neill Barrie Bates 6-3 Richie Burnett Mark Dudbridge 6-5 Mark Webster Steve Maish 6-3 Andy Hamilton Tony Eccles 6-5 Lee Williams James Wade 6-5 Chris Mason Vincent van der Voort 6-5 Jelle Klaasen Denis Ovens 6-5 Rick Lowther Quarter Finals Barrie Bates 6-2 Mark Walsh Steve Maish 6-5 Mark Dudbridge James Wade 6-3 Tony Eccles Denis Ovens 6-5 Vincent van der Voort Semi Finals Barrie Bates 6-4 Steve Maish Denis Ovens 6-5 James Wade Final Barrie Bates 6-5 Denis Ovens Good runs from Ovens and Maish today, but it's Barrie Bates who picks up the tournament victory. Barney also made his season debut in the Players Championship, losing in the second round to Adrian Lewis. Oh, and Andy Hamilton hit the first nine darter of the season in his third round match with Alan Tabern. DomDom
BIG VINNY~~~!!! has found himself in the latter rounds quite a bit recently. A rich vein of form indeed, and it's good to see Andy Hamilton is still going strong.
