MTJ
The fact he's got to this point proves he MUST be better than he's showing. Must be murder up there for him. He won some mug tournament in Australia. I dunno.
tigerton
He's got the look of a young Jo Fritzel this lad.
Davis Love III
He may be playing like a mug, but he's a mug who is going to walk away from a minor humiliation with £6000 in his pocket. If you're going to be a mug at anything, be a mug at darts. It pays.

Davis Love III
The roar when Kime hit that maximum! You've got to feel sorry for him, as he's clearly a much better player than what he showed at least in the first two sets. Who knows, he might get back next year and show a little more form! A very impressive professional performance from Mervyn King there. He doesn't have the easiest route in this tournament, but he is certainly showing some form that could threaten the top seeds.
F_T_Y
He won some mug tournament in Australia. I dunno. Nicholson wasn't stupid, move to australia and win a tournament to get into the worlds, look where he is now.

Haha! I think F_T_Y alluded to a similar strategy earlier in the tournament! They aren't top class players, but surely they have to be better than the 70 averages that they are producing. The big stage must be quite a shock to many of these guys. A completely different pressure.
Fuctifano
I'm trying to work out whether I don't like Monk jnr because he looks like Wayne Rooney or whether there's another reason.

Davis Love III
Took a bit to get going but this match is looking good. It's been a good performance from Kevin Painter. If he can close out a 3-0 win with a 96 average, coming off the win last week, then he'll be absolutely delighted with that.
The Naitch
Monk nicks a set back, though Painter's on throw in this set.
The Naitch
That was a professional performance from Painter - could well be a decent week for him.
Davis Love III
A solid and composed performance from Kevin Painter there. He held it together well and looked assured throughout even as Monk fought back. This sets up, what promises to be, a very tight 2nd round match against Mark Walsh. As for Monk. He grew in stature as the game progressed, and as he gains more experience he might cause a few problems for some seeds in the early rounds of events in 2012. Davis Love III
could well be a decent week for him. You called that a fortnight ago! Looking at his route in the Draw. It's Walsh in Round 2, Burnett/Part/Henderson in Round 3, Wade/Korte/Klassen/Farmer/Munch in the Quarter Finals, so there is a possibility for a good run!
The Naitch
I was gonna go to my kip but forgot that Korte has a second match tonight - bring it on!
The Naitch
Wade's just plodding along here and Korte has fought his way back into things. Wade needs to up his game to see this guy off.

ParT
f**k's that guy's throw all about? Wade was thinking this was going to be a walk in the park, and Korte's playing the better darts now.
