Abdul_Latif
Spotted this for £3 in Aldi. I’m a massive fan of Saison / Biere de Garde styles so had to pick it up. A higher ABV would have made it a decent beer, but in this guise it’s just a bit lacking. Edited October 30, 2021 by Abdul_Latif
Craig fae the Vale
One of the ones I picked up in Lidl a couple of weeks back. It's alright, if a little on the bland side.
Abdul_Latif
Sink pour. Astringent and absolutely foul.

Old fashioned American pine bombs are where it’s at imo.

Craig fae the Vale
First one I picked up from Aldi this week. Its ok, again a bit bland, I'm hoping this won't be a theme.

Craig fae the Vale
Another one from Aldi. Pretty good, can really taste the peach, but still very much a beer.

Craig fae the Vale
Interesting flavour with the lemongrass really coming through. Not unpleasant, but I don't think I'd have it again. Edit: the more I drink it, the less I like it. Maybe Lemongrass doesn't belong in beer.
