TxRover
Let’s solve this a better way. Take the top 1,000 Israeli warhawks and top 1,000 Hamas leaders, give them battle rifles and grenades, and place them on a nice island around 9 square miles of so. Shoot anyone trying to escape the island and may the last side with people alive win…Hamas gets Gaza recognized as their own country and borders reasonably opened…or Israel gets to control an international neutral police force to patrol Gaza and control the border.

The only thing I find obvious is your lack of understanding at what me and RG were discussing. What relevance has the vid you posted to what Rg and I were talking about regarding the center of Gaza? Do you think that video you posted is proof of a war crime?

I was sharing the actual video of use of white phosphorus that's current, this is being used in Lebanon not Gaza. It is being used not where people say it is. What's with the weird war crime question? Just some harebrained attempt at a gotcha or do you just struggle with reading what's in front of you?

Here is what I replied to with a tweet that suggests don't believe everything you read to RG and the legality of it was mentioned. Quote A video of Israel dropping white phosphorus bombs into the middle of Gaza. A stark reminder that our "elected leaders" will allow any form of war crime to happen upon innocent civilians if they profit from it in some way. You then posted a video of what appears to be WP. I asked why and what relevance was the vid to what we were discussing. "No relevance" would have sufficed. Hope that helps. -

I'm going to give Twitter a break, it's full of lies, even more so than usual. Aye its brutal. Even when you try and check somethings right by making sure its widely reported (and the above video i got wrong is being reported by literally hundreds of accounts) you still find out its bollocks. Sooner something replaces Twitter the better, especially for situations like this.
Zetterlund
Monetising twitter content creators has absolutely ruined it. So many engagement farming accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers pumping out BREAKING bullshit.

To be fair to Andy, he's good pals with Paul Gosar and voted to refuse the House's Anti-Semitism and Bigotry Resolution, so I don't think he gives a flying shite about the Jews either; if he's worried about anyone it's likely just himself and his donors.

welshbairn
For all the mentions of Palestinian atrocities against civilians, they're keeping pretty quiet about the number of Israeli military bases attacked and overrun, at least 4. Short piece about how Hamas managed to breach the border without being detected for so long. How Israel’s Feared Security Services Failed to Stop Hamas’s Attack

Yeah, right wing republicans claiming to be the ones fighting against anti-Semitism is one hell of a stretch.

AMMjag
It doesn't really matter what the social media platform is or what eccentric billionaire owns it. It's an individual's responsibility to differentiate between a credible primary source and words/pictures on a screen.
MacDuffman
Saw something last night on Youtube with Kay Burley harassing 4 Labour Politicians on their opinion on David Lammy being in the same room as the Palestinian Ambassador to the UK. Repeatedly saying he had basically said ‘the Israelis had it coming’. What he actually said in an interview was ‘they knew it was coming’. Totally different but I’d have thought after the first 2, Labour would have looked into what was actually said & pulled her up about it.

It's an individual's responsibility to differentiate between a credible primary source and words/pictures on a screen. What happens when the alleged credible primary sources are telling you that there are WMDs in Iraq or that the president's head was seen to move violently forward? The internet is a useful safety mechanism for making sure that the powers that be are not also able to misinform unchallenged. The problem with Twitter right now is that Elon Musk wasn't happy that they had been doing things like actively fact-checking Donald Trump, but eliminating the staff that used to do that sort of thing also seems to have stopped accounts that are spreading sensationalist misinformation simply to generate views from being suspended. Think that eventually is going to come back to haunt him, and a lot more people will start looking for an alternative that works better.
