  1. I did give you plenty warning my friend. At least you’ve got CmcM too Annan were headed fo LL football before he arrived.
  2. Thank you, and with a new manager inbound I’m sure we will kick on. Mid table is about what can be expected really. On your other point thats why I really don’t understand what’s in the mindset of the good people ( now ) who are in charge of Gretna.
  3. You may well be correct but do Dalbeattie really fancy going back to humpings every week after enjoying successful season and a chance to reset ? To early surely.
  4. I think i did TBH. To avoid the play offs must be regarded as a very successful season for Annan. If you look at the points at the end, Annan squandered way more than 10 over the piece ( i know all about it balance’s it’s self out ) ALEX Wilson is correct with his stats on % wins in charge Bartley 37.7 in his time murphy 37.4 ( 7 years ) Annan should be able to be mid table. Budget would dictate otherwise no matter how skilled the manger is. Let’s see what happens with the new guy next term.
  5. It was tongue in cheek, Murphy will be gone very soon. Just didn’t want to jinx the move.
  6. Only time will tell on the Murphy question. Annan ( Galabank ) has no scope for growth let along the size of the town. Ayr on the other hand has long overdue development to the ground, big name manager and from the outside look set to kick on at last.
  7. There you go, your comments regarding Chisholm are interesting. As far as your take on Murphy I’m just not at all convinced ( if we manage to avoid relegation ) it will be down to his managerial skills. A clubs ceiling/ objective for a forthcoming season will always be determined by how well a manager uses the budget hes given and id give Murphy credit for bringing in Gibson ( IF HE DID ? ) who has made a big difference along with the loaneE from Newcastle ( which had nothing to do with PM ).
  8. Those b*****ds too. Anyway lets hope Stranraer survive, even it is means they have to beat EK.
  9. Toss up between crazy farming contractors and even crazier Irish lorry drivers.
  10. As you well know I’m no fan of Murphy. But Bartley has given you untold grief this season. Even Humza in the end said he’d fucked up big time ( didn’t use those words ) and fell on his sword.
  11. That very project is due for completion at the very same time as the duelling of the A75 I’m told on good authority from Westminster.
