  1. I’d think it’s much more likely that Bannigan comes in to get some match fitness, and replaced by Alston later on.
  2. This is pish. I would really like if United could dish out a few 3-4 week injuries to liven things up.
  3. I’m not trying to be a dick here, but are you being deliberately obtuse?
  4. My best guess would be that he’s suggesting that the matches shouldn’t have been rescheduled and that Buckie awarded walkovers for both - which would be enough to see Brechin champion on goal difference?
  5. In what way have Brechin been treated badly? They fucked both their place in the SPFL and their opportunity at a playoff back into it entirely on footballing merit.
  6. There should 100% be a ‘good vibes’ criteria for gaining promotion. EK seem like c***s who’ll be a shite addition to the leagues, get them to f**k and promote Linlithgow instead.
  7. If Buckie are that outraged and have proof that the SPFL are at it, why on earth are they just accepting the outcome?
  8. What? I’d have thought it was obvious, but until 1 July this year, as I just said. None of us have any way of knowing if any club have applied for additional extensions or what dialogue they’re having with the SPFL - apart from Buckie, who haven’t applied and had f**k all dialogue.
  9. It isn’t unknown though. They have until 1 July, unless they specifically applied for an extra grace period - an option which was very clearly open to Buckie as well. https://spfl.co.uk/admin/filemanager/images/shares/pdfs/Membership Criteria Letter 2024-25 31 October 2023.pdf
  10. In all seriousness, those other three jokers should feel honoured getting mentioned in the same breath as Brian Graham.
  11. I think that there’s only one club in the entire SPFL who have any right to complain about VAR, and it’s Greenock Morton. The rest voted for this utter shambles and everything that comes with it.
  12. Presumably the justification is that the Premiership clubs all had to pay for it themselves, so why wouldn’t we.
  13. Last years run would’ve been an oddity as well in that (IIRC) we had to extend the entire squads contracts a wee bit to cover the playoff final so had an extra weeks wages to pay for, whereas that wouldn’t be the case this season. Would we have to pay to install the VAR stuff again this season (if we make it that far) or would we already have most of it in place due to last season? @Ad Lib can you shed any light on this?
