I don’t know a single person who’s going today, first time that’s happened this season. Think that’s pretty well reflected in the interest in this thread. When was the last time we had a game thread on page 1 a few hours before kick off? I’ve no idea if we’ll have bodies back for this or not. Ideally we’ll get Millen back into right back for Masson and Connolly and Vaughan back into back the 11 as well. Could do with a win but would probably grudgingly take a draw.

Saw him outside the main stand before a home game a few weeks ago. Assumed it had been announced and I missed it, but obviously not.

It just sloshed around the pan until we got to Dingwall. When we got back on after the game it was gone, cludgie water and all. That was the same day I stepped off the bus in Dingwall and was literally immediately almost run over by a car when attempting to cross the road to The Mallard. I said something like “oh ya c**t”. Car slammed the brakes on and out steps this 7ft highland man mountain, accusing me of calling him a c**t. Very luckily he chose not to pick me up and throw me away and allowed me safe passage into the pub.

I had been out the night before this and was feeling more than a little tender. Got on the supporters bus and needed to go for a shite before we even got to Perth. Will never forget that feeling of helplessness when I pressed the flush button and nothing happened. I was not a popular man on that bus that day.

Been a while since I’ve had such a love for a Rovers player, absolutely fucking over the moon for him. A lovely guy to boot. Deserved his chance and has taken it. Delighted.

Not every player will do well at any given club. Circumstances could’ve been not quite right. Confident Arnott will be a good player for us based on what I’ve seen.

Absolutely. I just think that we should be mindful that if Connell signs, we are going to need to rely on him at some point before the end of the season and I’d like to think that any player that pulls on our shirt feels like he has the full backing of the fans. It’s naive to think that the opinion of fans online, if he sees it, doesn’t have a negative impact on a player when he goes on the park. Discuss - absolutely. But leave the over the top stuff out, it has no positive impact or outcome, which is what we all want, surely?

Folk would be well minded to remember that players in all likelihood read this forum. You can say what you want, obviously, but mind these players are young guys and only a few weeks ago Raith TV posted a video where an mental health professional came in and gave a talk to the players, then afterwards spoke to the camera and said that every single negative thing that is posted online or shouted at a match has a demotivating, devaluing and ultimately negative impact on their performance. Folk can talk about ‘thick skin’ or ‘don’t read it if you don’t like it’ as much as they want, but that’s the professional opinion on it. Let’s give the over the top criticism a rest.

First post on the matter with a bit of perspective. Murray very obviously doesn’t think that Connell is the answer, but there’s more at play than “is this player good?”.
