  1. With our reported money issues, I’d say that a decent run in the Scottish this year is absolutely essential. Going out to Linlithgow would be a disaster. Just as well they’re not doing too well in their league… Just the 12 points clear at the top with 14/17 wins. Great stuff.
  2. Football fans not known for their accuracy, but the Dundee players, bench and fans all howling for offside for our goal is looking pretty silly now. There are at least two, maybe even three players playing him onside as Dick fires it back across the goal.
  3. Fair play, looks good. If only there was an operation he could get to stop being an irritating wee dick.
  4. Yeah, still a very good goalie at this level but no doubt he’s a little on the bigger side now. I get the feeling this might be his final season. Injuries are affecting him in nearly every game.
  5. That was really entertaining, enjoyed it a lot. Friday nights games are infinitely better, excellent atmosphere at times. Thought dominated the game until Gullan and Vaugha lm ran out of steam and stopped holding it up. As soon as that happened, the ball just kept on coming back at us and we got deeper and deeper. The equaliser was coming for a long, long time before it finally happened. Few other points: When (if) big John finally scores I’ll be on the fucking park, no doubt. Did alright in his 90 seconds or whatever it was. Some incredibly heavy handed stewarding tonight. c***s in jackets taking great delight in chucking 10 year old laddies out for seemingly not a lot. Looking forward to seeing that shot that hit the post and ended up back in MacDonald’s hands. Dundee fans have got a cheek slating his hair when they’ve had Paul McGowan turning out for them for the last however long.
  6. I’m sure I read somewhere that Connell is available til the 8th, tho I can’t recall where I saw that so can’t look it up to check.
  7. Looking forward to this, Friday night games are class. If Stanton is back I’d swap him in for Vaughan.
  8. Really happy that we have publicly and decisively told this shower of illiterate shysters to f**k off. Stick to poorly worded and grammatically incorrect Facebook updates, lads.
  9. As I see it, as well. Insane that they seem to think we should entertain signing more players when we can hardly afford the ones we’ve already got.
  10. Atmosphere at evening games under the lights are a million times better than Saturday afternoons. Announce home games always on a Friday night.
  11. I think bemoaning the fans not turning up during a cost of living crisis is a bit much. Folk who can go are going. Kirkcaldy isn’t awash with cash and it’s a tough time for everyone. Football is unfortunately an unaffordable luxury for some.
  12. If everyone could stop quoting that nuclear weapon, that’d be great. Ta.
  13. Gullan limped off with a calf issue. It happened on the run off at the side of the pitch as he was trying to stop himself before the boards.
  14. That was pretty crap but got the desperately needed win which is all that matters. Seen us play that game so many times and not win, but rarely watched us play a team as inept as Hamilton. They’re a guarantee to finish 10th, actually feel a bit sorry for them. Millen with yet another brilliant cross for the goal. Should’ve let him take the penalty, too
  15. Going to go against my better judgement today. Really need to win to just put some distance between us and not be looking over our shoulder. Should win, probably won’t. 1-1.
  16. I understand O’Riordan was under contract with us until today, so couldn’t play for Crewe until tomorrow. Seems to be backed up by the Crewe website.
  17. Anyone want to buy a Faroese flag, then? Got one going cheap.
  18. I can just envisage a boardroom somewhere in Hong Kong with an evil mastermind furiously gesticulating at a drawing board with a map of Linktoon on it. Circling Starks Park and “prime real estate” written next to it… The idea that someone is going to buy our club with the underhand thought of bulldozing Starks Park and building houses on the land is a bit far fetched. There is a housing crash. It is in one of the least desirable areas in an already undesirable town. The buy to rent market is now pretty much unviable. There is the east coast mainline mere meters from the back of the land. There are so many other areas of Kirkcaldy which you could buy and put houses on - if that was your wish - without the need for evicting a football club and bulldozing a stadium perched on a terribly shaped piece of land.
  19. I suppose buying us, turning us into a money making operation in the league above (stick with me here) then selling us again at a profit would interest a few folk.
