  1. Oh, Dundee [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  2. That patch of grass on the far side of the centre circle is awful, but it seems totally isolated in that regard. Is that usually a problem?
  3. This has been almost a carbon copy of our game at Dens. Dundee dominating and Charlie Adam scoring a peach. Wee glimmer of hope for Dunfermline fans - in the second half Dundee sat back and allowed us back into the game and we snatched a 1-1 draw. Wouldn’t rule that out happening again.
  4. The Dundee commentators pronounced Tumilty as “chew-multy” for the entire game when we played at Dens.
  5. McGhee must score there. Huge let off for Dunfermline.
  6. Pick of the games so I’m watching the 90 minutes this afternoon. Osman Sow up front for Dundee I see. Let’s see how that goes...
  7. This is very good content. c**t is claiming for a corner, too.
  8. Been watching this and reading this thread. St Johnstone fans must be fucking spewing.
  9. A wee word for Jamie MacDonald - he’s the goalie I wish we’d signed every summer for the last 5 seasons. Consistent as they come, minimal mistakes and likely to come up with 2 or 3 great saves per game. Not been mentioned as much Duku or Musonda, but arguably even more valuable.
  10. Shaughan and Paco are both correct in what they are saying. We are struggling to change the way a game is going because we start the game with our most attacking line up, with little scope to make a positive change. Lars Lokotsch has been mostly disappointing and Ugwu hasn’t played a single minute, which means when it isn’t quite working for Duku we are at a bit of a loss to gain an advantage by changing personnel. I do think that if Vaughan can get fit that gives us the ability to change our shape in the wide positions and up front, and will also promote a bit of competition for places. It’s not that we’re playing badly, quite the opposite actually, but more that if we don’t make the breakthrough in the first 60, we look unlikely to do so. Still plenty to be positive about, and we are clearly going in the right direction.
  11. Another excellent episode, one of my staples each week. I was crying at the oven gloves bit. Really enjoyed the section about Wick; we played them in 2012 and we got the train there from Kirkcaldy. Got on at 0730am and had to get off at Georgemas Junction and get a taxi or we’d have missed the first 20 minutes of the game. It turned out to be Wick gala day, which everyone gets into fancy dress for. Ended up in a nightclub (which I’m sure is a restaurant through the day) which was like a particularly potent acid trip. Weird wee place.
  12. I know it’s petty, but why the f**k are the presenters standing in a straight line? Have they never heard of a triangle?
  13. Absolutely, wholeheartedly agree. Would like to think we’re getting him sat down for an extension sooner rather than later. He’s breezed his way through games.
  14. It’s the folk claiming that because it was fine for them, it must be the individual’s internet that’s causing them to have issues that’s really doing it for me lately.
  15. He’s horrifically frustrating to watch when he’s like that. Could’ve strangled him when he hit that free kick at the end right out the park.
  16. A strange game in that I think we were the better side, but could’ve got beat 4-0 and had no real complaints. Our lack of real change off the bench is beginning to hurt us. Need either Vaughan to get fit quickly, or Ugwu to be brilliant.
  17. Harsh, to be honest. We’ve taken two stupid corners and given the ball away but other than that we’ve been excellent; battered Ayr for the majority of that first half. We’ve really controlled the game but just failed to find that final ball.
  18. Whoever the Ayr right midfielder is really is not doing his job defensively, we’re getting 2 on 1 down that side time and again.
  19. We really are pretty good to watch in possession.
  20. Got away with one early on, MacDonald with a great save. Better since then, however.
