  1. Rovers beat Motherwell 2-0 at Stark's Park in the final match at the old ground before it's redevelopment. ‪Raith were overcome by a Jorge Cadete inspired Celtic on the last day of the 95/96 Premier Division season.‬
  2. Colin Cameron opened the scoring against his former club as Hearts strolled to victory at Stark’s Park. Pat McGinlay scored a late equaliser for Hibs to deny Raith the 3 points at Easter Road.
  3. An Ally McCoist hatrick saw Rangers come out on top in this six goal thriller at Stark's Park. ‪Despite Falkirk taking the lead twice, it was Raith who left Brockville with all 3 points.‬
  4. Two days after the departure of manager Jimmy Nicholl, Raith Rovers picked up 3 points against Hibs thanks to a stunning strike by Davie Kirkwood. With the help of three new signings in the team, Raith ran out comfortable winners against Partick Thistle at Firhill.
  5. Certainly looked like a day for staying in the house!
  6. Unfortunately I don’t have either of the ones you mention, my source for all of these clips are old VHS tapes which my brother and dad used to record the old highlights onto. Obviously back in those days you couldn’t just set a programme to record onto your Sky box, you had to physically be there watching and waiting to hit record and then stop, which is why a lot of games will have been missed. If a match hasn’t been recorded I’m afraid I’ve no other way of getting it.
  7. Still to come from 95/96; Raith 3 - 0 Queens Park, 27 January 1996 Raith 1 - 0 Hibs, 10 February 1996 Partick 0 - 3 Raith, 2 March 1996 Raith 2 - 4 Rangers, 30 March 1996 Falkirk 2 - 3 Raith, 6 April 1996 Raith 1 - 3 Hearts, 13 April 1996 Hibs 1 - 1 Raith, 20 April 1996 Raith 2 - 0 Motherwell, 27 April 1996 Celtic 4 - 1 Raith, 4 May 1996 I also have two full match replays which I’m hoping to have up by the end of this week, the Coca-Cola Cup final and the 2nd leg of the tie against Bayern Munich in Germany.
  8. Refereeing decisions were the main talking point at Stark's Park as Rovers drew with Hearts. Stevie Crawford and Ally Graham were on target as Raith Rovers produced a superb turnaround to win at Easter Road.
  9. I’ve never uploaded that version before but luckily I still have it saved in a folder on the laptop so I’ve stuck it online for you now. It also includes Willie Gibson getting sent off which I don’t think Pars TV showed.
  10. A Danny Lennon penalty gave Rovers the win against Coca-Cola Cup finalists Aberdeen. A great strike by Ally Graham put Raith in front at Firhill before Stevie Crawford sealed the points for the visitors.
  11. I’ve just uploaded the entire “Singin’ the Blues” album from the early 90’s onto YouTube, for some reason I can’t share a playlist on here but if you go onto my channel and scroll down you’ll see all 10 songs there.
  12. The points were shared at Stark’s Park in this entertaining draw between Raith Rovers and Rangers.
  13. Hearts hit four as Rovers are well beaten at Tynecastle. Chick Young visits Stark’s Park to preview Raith’s UEFA Cup second round tie against Bayern Munich. Features interviews with Scott Thomson, David Sinclair and Jimmy Nicholl.‬
  14. Colin Cameron scored another brace as Raith cruised to a midweek victory over Hibs. Two brilliant goals by Jason Dair and David Sinclair gave Rovers an impressive win at Fir Park.
  15. Rovers claimed their first league win of the season thanks to goals from Ally Graham and Jason Dair. And this one, a Colin Cameron double helped Rovers on their way to victory against Partick Thistle. Brilliant double save by Thomson at the end.
  16. They did it’s included in the highlights, the scoreline was convincing if nothing else [emoji28]
  17. ÍA Akranes of Iceland were Raith's next UEFA Cup opponents, and it was another convincing win for the hosts despite conceding a dreaded away goal.
  18. Nah sorry, but I’m sure I’ve seen the goals online before. May have been on the old Rovers website before it got purged though.
  19. I’ve got that one yeah, Aberdeen beat us 4-1 and it looked as if the North Stand was split in two for home and away fans. There’s an interview with McLean at the end. Glad you and your dad are enjoying the clips.
  20. [emoji23] I’ll make sure I put an 18+ warning on the Anelka games when I get to them.
  21. Raith Rovers took their first steps into Europe as they welcomed Faroese side Gøtu Ítróttarfelag to Stark's Park in this UEFA Cup preliminary round tie. Raith began their defence of the Coca-Cola Cup with a win at home against Third Division Arbroath. A preview of the 95/96 Scottish Premier Division, featuring interviews with Jimmy Nicholl and Stevie Crawford.
  22. Raith knew that a win against Dunfermline would see them clinch the First Division title, but the celebrations were put on hold as this sold out Fife derby finished goalless. Raith Rovers secure a historic double, and promotion back to the Premier League after getting the point they needed against Hamilton. The trophies keep on coming for Rovers as the club’s success is recognised at the Scottish Football League’s end of season awards night.
  23. Colin Cameron scored twice as Raith kept their title hopes alive with a win against St. Mirren. Rovers met Airdrie for the seventh time of the season, and it was the away side who took the points following the first half dismissal of Ally Graham.
  24. Posted this in the Raith thread too but it’ll probably be enjoyed more in here.
