  1. I'm sure I read on FanTalk they beat East Stirling 3-2, with Mark Campbell getting sent off.
  2. If 20 minutes in a reserve game is all it took for McGlynn to make his mind up I suppose he can't be that bad.
  3. They're quite small made this year, most folk I know who got it had to buy a size up.
  4. Where did you hear that? Not because I don't believe you it's just that I've read elsewhere that he was training with Queen of the South.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3L2nLzsxHuk Anyone on here speak french?
  6. I enjoy friendlies, it's nice to be at a game and not have to worry too much about the score, and it gives you a chance to see how the new signings are looking. Bring on Montrose
  7. I'll only remember Gatheussi for one thing, his hilarious dive right in front of the South Stand
  8. Details of the new home strip: This years home Raith Rovers football shirt comes in a classic navy blue colourway with white and red trim, taking inspiration from the Puma Powercat 5.10 range to give you a stylish modern Raith Rovers home shirt for the new season ahead. The new design features a white v-neck collar which tapers down thinner at the front, featuring white and red panelling under the arms in the new Powercat 5.10 styling. As well as this, this new Raith Rovers home shirt features the official Raith Rovers football club badge embroidered on the left chest, Puma Cat logo on the right and shoulders, O' Connells sponsor logo across the front and the team new Penny Farthing sponsor logo on the back. The Raith Rovers home shorts are superb soft fabric shorts, perfectly designed to co-ordinate with both the home and away shirt. These Raith Rovers home shorts are styled in a navy blue colourway with a red trim at the bottom, featuring an elasticated drawcord waist with embroidered Raith Rovers badge on the right leg and Puma Cat logo on the left. Taken from the ACA Sports website, who are now taking pre-orders.
  9. Heard a rumour that we'll be bringing out a 3rd kit this season, blue and red vertical stripes similar to one we had in the 90's. Just a rumour though.
  10. Don't know about the length of contract but he has definitely signed.
  11. That's the scorer of the winning goal in the cup game sorted out then.
  12. Fair enough, there's a few guys on fantalk who talk nonsense, but it's the same on every forum. I don't get why folk come on here and complain about it, it's as if you're saying "we're so much better than that lot who post on there." It's cringeworthy. If you don't like it don't go on it, simple as that.
  13. Aye, nothing major like, just wee flakes that lasted for about 5 minutes.
  14. It's snowing in Kirkcaldy for the second time today
  15. I'm pretty happy with the players McGlynn's decided to keep. Obviously delighted with McGurn, Campbell, Ellis, Hill, Murray, Wilson, Walker and Tade. Weir hasn't had much of a chance this season and if he can stay injury free he could be an important player next season, same goes for Darren Smith. Williamson takes some stick but has scored some vital goals for us, if he can toughen up and put a wee bit more effort into games he would be a right good player. Mark Ferry had to stay, he'll never be a first team regular but he's showed that he is capable of playing well in either defence or midfield, a good player to have on the bench. Davo is another player who gets stick on here but I've always been a fan, really glad he's staying. Glad to see the back of Sloan and Gathuessi, neither have shown that they are good enough for this level.
  16. I agree with the team. People saying Dargo should be in it, remember he only played a few games for us in the year 2000 due to injury before leaving for Kilmarnock that summer, so it wouldn't really be fair to include him in the team of the decade. And I would say Davo fully merits his place as well. He's been a first team regular at Starks Park for 6 years, and usually puts in a good shift wherever he's asked to play. Craig Stanley was only with us on loan for about 6 months, and wasn't anything special. And Brittain wasn't great with us either. Darren Brady was awful in my opinion. I know it isn't clear in the paper, but the teams actually meant to be a 4-3-3. So Nanou would be a bit more central and Novo would be up top. I would maybe agree with John Sutton being in there though, he was immense for us. But Smithy's goals basically won us the second division, so I think he probably deserves his place.
  17. Yep, sorry guys Obviously the info I got last week wasn't true.
  18. Kevin Smith has extended his stay with us until the end of January, and Johnny Russell will be at Starks until the end of the season. Good stuff if you ask me.
  19. Graham Weir was taken off last night becuase he was punched off the ball by their blonde defender, he has had to have an x-ray done on his jaw.
  20. He looks very Argentinian. Can't wait for tomorrow, hope the weather stays fair.
  21. In an interview with the Dunfermline Press, Pars chairman John Yorkston was asked about their defensive problems and replied: "We do need cover at the back, we'd like to add another defender and we're just trying to make sure the right one is available. "Neil McGregor has played a few games for Hamilton as a trialist this summer and he scored against Raith Rovers so that alone is probably worth signing him for!" Cheeky
  22. Saturday was the first time I had seen Tade up close. Anyone else think he looks like Kanye West?
