I stuck the highlights of some of these games on YouTube a while back:

So you're expecting season ticket holders to sit on their own? I'm the only one in my group that has one so by your logic I should have just bought my seat and sat next to whatever strangers got the seats around me on the day? Nonsense, it makes perfect sense to allow us to buy the seats next to where we sit, within reason of course. I bought 4 last night.

I've taken it down, hopefully by the reaction you saw both on here and on Facebook you'll think twice before posting such drivel again. If it genuinely was someone else posting under your name then maybe you need to be a bit more careful where you leave yourself logged in.

That's the one, video doesn't show the foul on Burns but it does show some bizarre goalkeeping by Guido van de Kamp and a wonder strike by Junior Mendes.

The millenium derby, I know I already have it on YouTube but this is better quality than the other one. 2 more videos to come from the 99/00 season, a dramatic 2-1 defeat by St. Mirren and of course the 2-0 win away to Dunfermline.

Next video is another Fife derby, this time a 1-1 draw at East End Park:

There is software you can buy to do it properly, but it's not cheap as you can see here. You'd probably also need a pretty high spec computer to make it work. I'm happy enough with the quality I'm getting doing it my way. Next up is the first Fife derby from the 99/00 season, a 2-2 draw at Starks Park:

I have got some older tapes but I'm not sure what's on them, I'll have a look tomorrow.

Simply a case of sitting my phone on a wee desk in front of the TV, recording the video and then editing the file a wee bit on the computer. Tedious yes, but it'll be worth it as the VHS tapes are starting to age quite badly. There are a few games I haven't even bothered with because the quality was so poor.

Glad folk are enjoying seeing these again, there's much more to come. This was the week after the Airdrie game, we went 1 goal better and thrashed Ayr 5-1 at Starks Park.

Cleaning out cupboards recently and came across a box full of old Raith videos, it's mainly stuff that either myself or one of my older brothers had recorded from Scotsport/Football First back when the first division highlights were shown on TV on a Sunday morning. I've decided to convert them to digital form in order to preserve the footage long term, and I'll be sticking some of the more memorable games on YouTube so they can be enjoyed by others as well. I'll post a link in here every time I upload a new video, first up is: From the same season I'll also be uploading our late win away to Hamilton which kept us in the first division, and maybe a couple more. The following season saw us challenge for promotion under Peter Hetherston and there are lots of good games. Hopefully brings back a few memories for people.

Only at Raith Rovers could one of our best players leave and the fans come out and say they are glad to be rid of him.

Willie Dyer has signed a 1 year deal with Morton, good luck to him.

Delighted he's signed on, the only disappointment for me is that's it's only a 1 year contract! Hopefully now he can start talking to some of our better players about contracts.
