Seems fair

My guess is that some of the support races will be cancelled but the F1 race still to go ahead. That way they can bump Fridays free practise but hold longer sessions on Sat before a late afternoon qualifying. Maybe they'll delay the new qualifying format, which was supposed to be in place for this weekend, until Monaco or Spain.

In other news, appears that the NW200 organisers were a bit early putting out the news about Lee Johnston injury on Thursday. He had a much rougher time than first thought. -
Fair chance we might not see a GP this weekend. Even if the track is fine, taking emergency personal to get a race on while the surrounding areas are dealing with floods is not a great look.

Yeah, seen the Electric bikes race and it's strange to hear only the rolling of the tyre and the whine of an electric motor. Was it open to the public or just invited guests? Would have liked to see it in person. -

@Stu - What's you thoughts on it having seen the cars/racing up close, personally from what I've seen on TV, it's never really grabbed my attention at all. -

Yeah, caught that last night....there is a stubborn streak within the NW200 setup who want to do things their own way, why they just don't follow the IOMTT regs remains a mystery. In other news.......IOMTT not that far away, I may have already packed my bags for that just now. -

Unfortunately missed the racing tonight, but just catching up with the main talking points.....and what is it with the scrutineering and stewards making strange decisions that seem to contradict each other at the NW200 Last year we had Cooper being disqualified after the both races in the SuperTwins as Ryan Farquhar had built a bike which had modifications to the frame which passed scrutineering and yet after the fact stewards failed them on, something that made Ryan promise he wouldn't be back again (however decided to help out Cooper again this year after Cooper's ride fell through at last minute....and possible to get his own back) Now we have this issue with the FHO bikes of Hickman and Cooper in the SuperStocks. The rules say they have to run with the factory built wheels, which in the case of the BMW's are Carbon, however the rules state that the wheels can not be made in carbon....the rules also state that no after market wheels can be used on a SuperStock.....and all the FHO bikes had passed scrutineering and were deemed to be ok. (better explanation fund here - https://fhoracing.com/fho-racing-bmw-motorrad-withdraws-from-the-2023-north-west-200/ -
You can tell it's a poor race as FOM are putting out as many radio messages from drivers who are complaining about random things.... ....almost as if they want to create some drama because otherwise, people will start to switch off.

Said it before, but that Red Bull straight line speed is unreal.

Now, I''m not saying that Elon is randomly putting blue check marks against people who used to have one to make it look like paying for Twitter is popular....but it does appear that blue ticks are randomly appearing on accounts which used to have one for no reason, and a simple name change can remove them again

Decided to do everything in my power to avoid the County game on TV so was on the road down to Buckie for this one. It wasn't a great game for the neutrals and overall, Brechin were just about the better side (although in the first half Buckie edged it) It did feel as if Buckie were happy to draw the game rather than try and win.

f**k man, don't know why but that news took the wind out of me for for a few seconds. Got a mate whose in the Rally scene over in Ireland, he's mentioned that Breen was always around if there was no conflict with another main event, often in a historic car, (in fact I think he had recently got a Serria Cosworth and was tearing up the roads in Irish rallies in it). A huge loss for the scene. -
Well, this is bound to get some into a complete and utter mess on Twitter again...... https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/massa-to-look-into-legal-options-over-2008-f1-title-outcome-/10453168/

Joan Mir to miss the race due to injuries sustained in the sprint race. Barely into the season and already 5 riders down.....not a great look for MotoGP -
Massi's mere presence at a race is enough to cause chaos......impressive
