  1. That's three seasons in a row that Scott Allardice has been more absent than available. If fit i'm sure there would no doubt over vowels. Alas, that's an indicator of how far from focus he finds himself to be. It's great shame as despite his destination I'd hoped that he would prosper.
  2. This is one that Starmer won't have to copy because they got there first with Gordon Brown's "British jobs for British workers" awfulness
  3. If you're happy with a c thread pile on, that's great, fill your boots jack. I'm much more comfortable with at least some debate. I'm sure there's important lessons to be learned with the enquiry but how people chose to store or not store informal messages is not one of them. Also the reductive patter about care homes, I'd like to think it says more about your posting shtick in this context rather then your comprehension in general.
  4. I believed Boris when he revisited Wilson's white heat of technology energy and his promise that as each new year dawns we would get another nuclear power station. Perhaps not too cheap to meter but a exciting promise all the same. In 2016 Theresa May signed up and confirmed the state aid promised by the likes of David Cameron, George Osborne and Ed Davey to Hinkley Point C and it should've been producing electricity by now. Ach well, we'll just have too wait until nearer 2030 and double the price to circa £50,000,000,000 for some strong and stable power.
  5. Here's the perfectly formed Alex Samuel who is eligible to play in the next round
  6. On the evidence of this weekend I'm not at all sure that there's enough creativity if all those three play. Macgregor excites me though and there was a hint of what he can deliver when he restarted his season yesterday. Thompson looked very tidy as well.
  7. In the context of a lessons learned environment, I'm not at all sure that grandstanding is helpful. I'm too busy to follow the detail of the inquiry so I'm unsure on whether this focus on flotsam is pivotal or just a diversionary tabloid chase. A response from Sturgeon as reported by the BBC
  8. And you may ask yourself, "How do I work this?" And you may ask yourself this is not my beautiful house"
  9. My advice is to ignore Stormzy the troll. He tried to noise me up last night and when I didn't respond he returned an hour later to red dot my post. Despite his desperation I still didn't respond but he did get the opportunity to dish out more disgusting abuse. Quite remarkable behaviour.
  10. Samuel's behind is a thing of voluptuous beauty and he wears it well. I think I'm in love. Great to see Macgregor come on and look so assured. I do hope he is spared the misery of further injury. As for the game, it finished with the penalty. It looked 50/50 to me in the tussle but Doran went down and the defender went off. Samuel made a Nevin of the penalty but got his goal when he turned in a backpost header.
  11. It'll almost certainly be the former and given the toxicity of what passes as commentary, not to mention online bilge, I'm not surprised that politicians everywhere protect themselves from the out of context wolves.
  12. The cream go to Westminster. The tory party have big beasts. I'm so glad that they might be out of power for the next few years
  13. I've previously renewed with Direct Line, sometimes without troubling myself to open the envelope. Not this year. Direct Line doubled, doubled down during my call to them and lost my business when GoCompare made it easy for me
  14. I hope the roaster that launched the pyro from the rear of section E is LWed or otherwise identified. More generally I noted the significant number of patrons that were overly compromised by what they had previously imbibed. One notable individual wore his half bottle of buckfast in his back pocket with apparent pride. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c6p1pdmnrn0o
