Must say you were pretty awful today. Looked like you could go a month without scoring, dodgy penalties aside. Ayr weren't exactly vintage but Caley were worse. There was an air of impending doom there today I thought, like watching a car crash in slow motion. Pretty dire week for you with the battery vote too. What are your thoughts for the rest of the season? (Ayr Utd are my childhood team by the way).

    Concise enough?

I know people moan about the Scottish government centralising stuff away from local control but this is exactly why they are doing it. Every council up and down the country are full on mumbling NIMBY types stifling any sort of development.

In a flurry of views on this topic of varying quality, your one piques my interest.

Much like posts that proffer the permanently adolescent view that if only we sack the boss everything will be so much better, local councillors play to the gallery and prefer to defer to others to take the grown up and nuanced decisions.

Distributed and despatchable green generation is of national importance. In an Inverness context where the big bowl of the landscape is mostly given over to various structures, it is incumbent upon the community to agree to reasonable access to the DNO's infrastructure for our common good.

    Oh dear, how inconvenient...

Former Lib Dem leader Charles Kennedy has insisted his party went the "extra mile" to check out donor Michael Brown before accepting his money.

Brown - who gave the party £2.4m ahead of the 2005 election - was later convicted of stealing £36m from clients and is now on the run from the police.

The Electoral Commission ruled in 2009 the party could keep the money.

Advisors recommended an amount to contribute and the FM chose to ignore this. As this is taxpayers cash is there a good reason to select a different figure? This happened shortly before his relatives were granted a pass out. Even if nothing dodgy has happened it does look rather wrong. I'm sure this can be cleared up early next week with the official paperwork. Happy to admit Humza did good when this happens

You appear to be comparing the plight of the people of Gaza with Brechin. If you are give your head a wobble ffs.

This is along the lines of the reply that I was going to post but couldn't be bothered to.

I'm sure @AyrExile is proud of his contribution that infers that Scotland is inadequate or not worthy of offering compassion

Lawal hasn't played much, but has shown potential when he has. Speedy, can play a pass, although certainly a bit lightweight at the moment

From what I've seen of him (absolutely very little bar a few late sub cameos), he seems to be a bit of a deep lying CM. Done decent by all accounts at youth international levels though but completely untested in actual competitive senior football. Could be just us getting him ready to be a starter at that level next season

    We'll he's certainly got a touch and a pass.

I didn’t expect him to last past the hour mark today but there was a through ball quite late in the game straight through the D and towards the penalty spot that was crying out for a striker to properly anticipate. That was the game right there. Alas the pass was better than the striker's run.
