I saw James in Dundee last year.
They were excellent.
Don't be anxious about going alone. I do it all the time.
Anxiety is my super power (apparently on tictok all these things are now awesome to have!)

There's a woman who works for the firie's and she's a boot. She works on reception but acts like you need the highest level of MI5 security clearance to get on site. I have the codes to every door in the building but she's always got a million questions - anyway, "some weather the day, eh?" makes lines of questioning deteriorate and I'm suddenly not a bomb carrying national security thereat but someone she's known her whole life who she offers a cuppa to.
Every single time.
How the f**k did you manage get any level of clearance, I'll need to remedy this tomorrow!

I kind of feel sorry for these. They always look like they're struggling to walk on their wee bandy legs and often make snuffling and snorting sounds like they're struggling to breathe. No wonder they're grumpy, they've been bred to be physically deformed.
Yup, they're poor souls, so many much Bonnier dogs out there. If you're going drop 2.5-3k on a dog get one that actually like you.

Someone my wife knows posted this on Facebook (name and pic deleted).
What the actual f**k? They are surprised that a shelter won't take a dog that's known to attack? For avoidance of doubt I don't think the child suffered a serious injury, I just can't believe someone would in all seriousness share something like that.
Frenchies are horrible, grumpy wee dogs. I don't get the appeal of them at all. However If it was a bite that was because small child gouged eyes of dog, then owner needs to ensure child and dog supervised at all times. As any owner with small kids and dogs should do. They'd have a better chance of rehoming if they gave context.

The big dug keeping lookout isn't doing a very good job.
She's been grumbling at something out the window all weekend, the only thing I can see that's changed is a bird feeder.
Being a lab, it's likely that!

You didn't fancy risking a meet-up with some of P&B's finest?
Inexplicable. We're so normal.
When I'd be the most normal one in attendance, you know there's an issue

I toyed with buying a ticket to Tenacious D but I've no friends
That said I have bought a ticket to James in June on my tod.

Had bbs news on, in areas where reform stood Tories lost 19% vote and Reform picked up 11% (still not enough win more than three seats).
I'm guessing turnout will be in the low 30% across the board but haven't seen it reported.

I held off until my eldest was about 9 and then got him an Xbox. They all had Kindle fires, not iPads, youngest was younger than other two but COVID meant I got her one at 7 for school work.
I don't recall tantrums when R played Xbox live with pals. Headset meant he sometimes didn't realise how loud they were getting!
Tantrum when time up = no screen time next day so they learnt.
It's not so much the device, it's the parenting as it is with a lot of things.

Sick notes now are issued by telling reception you need another x weeks.

I'm still off. My sick line.is up on the 15th and I've no idea what I'm going to do. I'm on a six month contract but the agency will pay 6 months sick pay but I'd obviously lose the assignment.
The jobs fine and my team lead is great with me but I can't string good days together.

Somehow Ben Houchen won in Tees Valley. Quite a few people seem to enjoy having an actual con man as their mayor. They're crazy down there.
Pretty much what I came here to say.

My son hasnt spoken to me for two years. I've no idea why, he went to his dad's one weekend and never came back. Breaks my heart.
Hoping once he's through the angry teen hears he'll appear back.

Torrie who wore a yellow rosette to get in.
Her views would undoubtedly infect her politics and voting. Coversion therapy is lunacy. LGBT and abortion are all politically sensitive issues. Thankfully she would be unlikely gain support to roll any laws back.
