This is petty as hell but, I went back after almost 5 weeks off. Been in team since the beginning. I started back on Wednesday on much reduced hours.
Someone now off and recovering from sepsis.
Guess which one gets the get the whip round.....

I was recently informed by my mother that if she died anytime soon* then I'd automatically inherit all of the timeshare guff that's she's been trying to offload for years (including asking me if I'd want it before I told her where to go), and I'd have to continue paying for it whether I wanted to use it or not.
It makes me wonder how many of these sly little ticking timebombs are hidden in various other T&Cs.
*I actually need to ask her if it'll get passed down as part of an estate regardless of timing.
My parents had a timeshare, which we'd have had to take it when they died. Not sure how they offloaded it and it wasn't at any profit that's for sure.

At what point do this season's postponement become irrelevant?
If (and I appreciate it's a big 'if') we completely overhaul our pitch and have it verified that the drainage is up to the standard required by the rules, will we still be forced to pay the suspended fine if a severe storm hits the day before a game and completely swamps the pitch?
In such a scenario, why would we be any different to, say, Ross County, who had a game postponed this season because of a waterlogged pitch?
Solely depends on if you happen to be playing one of the arse cheeks.

“We scored three goals against Celtic a week ago, and scored two goals on Sunday.” That’s ok then.
No Clement, you scored one penalty on Sunday and County scored your other goal for you.

I splay my left hand (palm turned upwards) and then place the first glass between thumb and forefinger, gripping it with those. The next glass rests on my ring finger while being stabilised with the middle finger. The third rests in the space between while being stabilised by my pinky.
The right hand has palm downwards and I grip one glass with thumb and forefinger and the other with middle finger pressing the glass against the ring finger.
If it's pints I pick up the 6th glass between the two hands. The 6th glass is only held by pressure from either side, so that goes down first. The next glasses down are the ones in my right hand which are set down simultaneously. The ones on the left are set down in reverse order to their placement.
Quite the party piece.
Who else read that trying to replicate the finger positions?!

I trust if you beat them it'll be Ross County's fault, given it was your fault on Sunday!

14 years ago this week we beat Celtic for the first time in a magnificent display at Hampden. My youngest lad came to that game with me and it was his first County game. Fast forward 14 years and he was by my side once again as we managed to finally defeat Rangers. He has been a County fan ever since that April day in the glorious sunshine in Glasgow and he will always be a County fan. Win lose or draw. It moments like this that make football what it is, shared experiences that are never forgotten.
It is such a shame that so many from the Highlands dont support their local team though. A flag in the away end said 'Dingwalls Chosen Few', what is that all about?
Last week I thought we might be 7 points adrift of Saint Johnstone after this wekends fixtures. Thankfully its just 1 again. Onwards and upwards!
Highlights.of that day had.been on my Facebook memories all week, then yesterday's result.
My youngest is off to school to give the ranger supporting kids stick!

Just watched the highlights, that wasn't a fluke, some really good play by county and good play in build up to goals. Much better than the game I watched at Killie last week.
Don spoke well afterwards but clearly a stage managed handshake for the cameras after interviews.
Rangers 20th penalty of the season.......

He had a chance to apologise in his Sky interview when it was mentioned but instead said he had to get in to see his players,. In this came across as a bad lower. Sky then showed the stage managed (Rangers PR?) hand shake after the interview. Getting a bit pissed off with Sky making no comment on the sectarian singing in Old firm matches which was particularly bad today, and to give Bennett his due he called it out,
Staged managed handshake, "see his players" my arse, they were on the field still.

The video for Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time" wasn't just filmed on any old warship, but on the USS Missouri, the site of the Japanese surrender at the end of WW2.
As a result, numerous veterans and US Navy higher-ups lost their shit at the fact Cher performed on the ship with her arse hanging out. The crew on the ship didn't seem to mind though.

Maybe. But 5 years old is when you should be expecting issues, especially depending on how it's been used.
If the bonnet cable has barely been used over 5 years then it's not a shock things are seizing and braking. She shouldn't be beating herself for up for bad luck over it.
Sorry my thinking with it being 5 yes was would it be covered by their 7 year warranty?
Current garage can't find a way to release it either, they're having a panel beater look at it tomorrow to see if they can work out where the cable is.
I wasnt expecting it to come through MoT and Service without issue!
My bad luck was in relation to my luck with cars in general

Or alternatively you just wait a couple of weeks, don't break trims/clips that don't need broken, then also don't misdiagnose the issue.
As someone who's had "DIY experts" tell them exactly what's wrong with their car, be assured that if you act like a smug twat while telling a mechanic, they will change that part first and charge you for it even if it's clearly the wrong thing needing changed. Then you'll have to wait another few weeks to book it in again.
The car is at the garage today, they may need smash the front grill to get it open.
It's a 19 plate Kia, it shouldn't have snapped on such a young car imo. However I seem to have a Midas touch with cars.
