Went to Cirque Du Solei yesterday. Was rather underwhelmed. Wouldn't rush back. Two in the group really enjoyed it, one slept through first half

Will there be a royal family double hit bonus in next year's game (if Brian makes it that far).

Renewal just gone through for me and tbh, this might be the last year I'm a member at Dumbarton. Prices gone up and I'm now about 800 for the year, which includes a 70 quid bar card that I never have and never will use. I understand the club is struggling to break even and they are investing in infrastrcuture that should see the course in good condition but it's a pretty basic course, when I know I can get an "out of town" membership at Balfron for about 300 I really don't think Dumbarton GC is worth the money they charge.
Does your club have an off licence part of their bar licence? I think it's pretty standard that they do.
Some the members were i was use it to buy few bottles wine or beer to take home. Even cans juice etc.

I've just spent three weeks with some infection, most of the last two weeks spent in bed and not in fun way. And on stat sick pay.

I just get the impression that it's very formulaic and if you know how to write the right bullshit and talk talk at interview you'll get through.
I've done one interview, which they had tech difficulties with and left me having on a teams.call for 20min with no one there. It wasn't a disaster and I was only couple points away. But I've written thick end 2000 words today but none of it feels like it captures me.

I've spent 39 of my 45 working years toiling at the coal face in the service of Their Majesties. I'm beginning to think I might not find anything better.
The application process is driving me nuts.

Wotsit sounding is a thing in Arbroath ? (Calling @RH33 for confirmation...)
Having never been to Arbroath I can not confirm the sexual peculiarities or that area.

If it makes you feel any better, Millie is only just starting to curb the random acts of terrierism now (she's 2). She will settle down once she gets to the other side if adolescence, honest!
She knows she's cute and loves the attention it gets her!

Glad it’s not just me. Really didn’t think it ever got better than mildly entertaining.
Clichéd TV troupe of wrong person shot..so then that all starts shooting each other.

I seem to be quite out of step here. Watched this based on some rave reviews and didn’t really enjoy it at all.
Series 1 was engaging, if a bit silly, but nothing better than ok. Series 2 I just found a bit rubbish in all honesty. Quite surprised that all the critical reviews seem to love it.
Infelt every plot and sub plot was too rushed, and didn’t ever find the characters believable or really like any of them.
I watched a couple episodes over weekend and tbh it's not as great as the reviews say.

We have a friend who moved back with her parents about ten years ago to care for them - her dad was in end stages of cancer and he died shortly after, her mum is very frail and needs someone there to help her. She has several siblings, who have spread out over the world and have families of their own so don't see much of them. After a few years, her mum wanted to change the will to give her daughter the house outright when she died - it's her home, she lives there has done for years etc. One of her siblings objected, said that they need the money for long term planning. I don't know legally where they stand but it's just appalling behaviour IMO. There is a lot more they'll inherit rather than just the house but they want to squeeze every last few quid out of it, no matter the impact on their sister who has looked after their parents for years. The house is not some country pile, it's a completely normal family home.
c***s. My Granny who is 101 is in care, it's about £4k a month.
She was with my parents for a couple of years but in the end she had to go into care as her needs were more than they could deal with.
So the sibling wouldn't have a penny if his sister went enoughs enough, I've more than done my bit.
