  1. There is a special ring in hell reserved for people who leave their teaspoons in the sink at work.
  2. Yep, it's a nightmare. Especially annoying when they don't open on Sundays, the one day of the week that folk actually have time to get their hair cut.
  3. Every time I go to the barbers its f*****ng stowed out and I wait on average 30 minutes, this is regardless of what barbers I choose.
  4. Yep, something not quite right about people who get a kick out of living in the arse-end of nowhere Indeed, "Munro baggers" are another crowd to be avoided at all costs
  5. I don't understand why people like the countryside, and I don't understand why anyone would want to live there. I also don't understand how people get happiness from looking at scenery, I just see trees and hills. Anyone else find this?
  6. Can anyone recommend a good driving instructor in Glasgow?
  7. Mark Stewart has signed for Killie - poor, poor signing
  8. Agreed, he just drifts along in games, would be a minor loss
  9. I'm no fan of the British Army or current foreign wars and I also hate the tabloid portrayal of the army. But I do think people who place themselves in life-threatening situations daily (for right or wrong reasons) deserve some respect and reward, if the club can give free tickets to them then I see no reason why they shouldn't do so.
  10. Are double vented suits acceptable or out of style? Bought one today without noticing the flap at the back. I've read that they're a no-go for fat folk, but are they OK for a normal build?
  11. Apparently a Thistle supporter's group lobbied the club and managed to set up a system where the police and stewards have contacts in the crowd to speak to if anything out of order is happening. The only downside to it is they had to ban under 16s from the stand which isn't great.
  12. He was a good, pacy winger and a great player on his day, but i think his head went down too easily in games.
  13. Yep, it could be too much of a risk. I'm sure I'm not the only one who genuinely struggles to motivate myself to go to games because of how depressing the atmosphere is. If the SPFL start to realise how much all seater stadiums are affecting football atmospheres they may soften their opinion on safe-standing. The only real hope is that a section of the future East Stand is perhaps zoned as a standing area.
  14. I've been to Firhill as a neutral with mates a few times and it is brilliant, you forget how enjoyable it is to stand at a football match and create a bit of noise. The only problem is that the South Stand is steeper than Thistle's stand and would be more of a health and safety risk.
  15. With all the changes the club are bringing in I propose we follow Partick's lead and make the South Stand an unofficial standing area. Surely if Partick manage to do it without getting fined by the SPFL we can do it as well?
  16. Stolen from the Falkirk FC photographer's twitter page. This picture was taken in October 2009, all the players in the picture played on Saturday against Clyde. Brilliant stuff.
  17. People who ask you to take your shoes off when you come into their house. Wtf is that all about? Are we still in P5? Do you automatically assume that grown adults are going to walk dogshit into your house?
  18. That could have been us gettin pumped by Malmo
  19. Just finished Ecstasy by Irvine Welsh - another cracking Irvine Welsh novel. It's a collection of three short stories that are more like short novels, all connected in some way with ecstasy. Some of it is quite harrowing/uncomfortable to read, but it's a well written book. 8/10.
  20. Spotted this on Turriff's facebook page titled "Falkirk fans have a half time penalty shoot-out"
