Why are people persisting with “surely he’ll play McMann at left back”? I think it’s fairly clear Brown sees him as a centre half given that he’s not played him once (as far as I’m aware) at left back in pre-season or the cup? I don’t get it either but looks as though he sees Musonda as back-up left back.

Aye, that was all down to missing sitter after sitter today. We’d enough good chances to score 6 or 7.

McKenzie was fine today. He offered just as much, if not more, than Henderson did on the right.

He’s also been utter shite in every one except 2 of his caps in his preferred position!

Not for those of us now based in Aberdeen! We’ve lost all our “local” games in Inverness, Arbroath and Dundee in one fell swoop!

Yeah, it’s far from a howler and I’m maybe being unrealistic but I think he had enough time to see the header coming to either smother it or push it considerably wider. Fully accept it’s the type of goal keepers concede at this level though.

I haven’t seen it back yet but I thought that he should have done better with the initial header at the time. Was up the other end of the park though so wasn’t sure if I was being harsh or not.

It’s been mentioned already but major kudos to McKenzie for the shift he put in. Started off Dowds up front, moved to centre mid when Stanger went off and then to right back when Syla went off.

We were also not very good at Inverness, they were just somehow even worse!

That penalty decision is even worse than I thought it was at the time. Utterly scandalous.

Yeah, the area in which the alcohol was to be consumed would have to be licensed and if that was to be part of the stand/terracing then I can’t see any Licensing Board approving that.

Thought the assists for all 3 goals were really good yesterday. Lovely weighted pass from McKenzie for the first. Fantastic pressing, persistence and then skill from Murphy for the second. Clever quick thinking from Chalmers for the third.
