Yeah, it’s far from a howler and I’m maybe being unrealistic but I think he had enough time to see the header coming to either smother it or push it considerably wider. Fully accept it’s the type of goal keepers concede at this level though.

I haven’t seen it back yet but I thought that he should have done better with the initial header at the time. Was up the other end of the park though so wasn’t sure if I was being harsh or not.

It’s been mentioned already but major kudos to McKenzie for the shift he put in. Started off Dowds up front, moved to centre mid when Stanger went off and then to right back when Syla went off.

We were also not very good at Inverness, they were just somehow even worse!

That penalty decision is even worse than I thought it was at the time. Utterly scandalous.

Yeah, the area in which the alcohol was to be consumed would have to be licensed and if that was to be part of the stand/terracing then I can’t see any Licensing Board approving that.

Thought the assists for all 3 goals were really good yesterday. Lovely weighted pass from McKenzie for the first. Fantastic pressing, persistence and then skill from Murphy for the second. Clever quick thinking from Chalmers for the third.

I don’t see where he fits into our team. If he wants to play for us, fine. If he’s just doing it because he can’t get a game for England then no thanks.

Thought we were decent today. Agree about Dowds, thought he was very good today. I actually thought mcKenzie worked quite well with him today, showed for the ball well, held it up and linked well. He should have scored that chance but Airdrie missed one very similar. Senga was good first half but thought he faded quite a bit second half. Chalmers was good but needs to learn to use his right foot! If he’d brought down that wee lobbed pass from Dowds he was on for his second.

We were a one-man team last year and said man fucked off to York!

Good teams look even better when you give them all the time and space they want in which to play. If we do the same against Spain next month they’ll take 4 or 5 off us.

My fear is I can’t see one team in this league finishing below us at the minute, never mind two.

Utterly unacceptable. I could have played in goals for Falkirk tonight. The boy Young looks decent enough but we have zero creativity as a team. The boy on co-commentary said at one point we’d 11 individuals on the Park and were playing like 11 individuals and I think that summed it up.

We were shite. So were they so you can maybe say we were unlucky not to get a point but it was dire stuff.

People must have been watching a different Amartey than me. The boy’s an athlete but looks like he’s never seen a football in his life. Any composure whatsoever and he’d have had a hat trick tonight. And Bangala is just not a footballer. I actually felt sorry for him watching that.

Obviously it didn’t eventually matter a jot the way things transpired, but why if you win the toss would you choose to play with your goalkeeper having the sun in his eyes in the first half?
