Be interesting to hear why McGinty was dropped today. Thought Kirk looked impressive.

For anyone going to Cove this weekend I’ve been told there’s a fanzone at the stadium which is open to away fans pre and post match. It’s at the opposite end of the stand from the away entrance and is apparently open from 12-8. Disclaimer - I have no idea what beers etc they serve and this is more of a public service announcement than an endorsement!

Thought there were suspicions of a push for Hamilton’s second but in no way was the keeper to blame for either of the goals. Missed penalty and at least one sitter again cost us.

Am I reading the club email right for the game on Saturday? You can buy an adult & child ticket for the Railway End for the fun day stuff but move round to the North Terracing by 2.45 to watch the game from there?

Well that was utterly dreadful. As are several posts on here looking for an individual scapegoat. We didn’t lose that tonight because any one individual player had an off-day, we were miles off it as a team. The worrying thing for me continues to be the lack of options for the man on the ball. We inevitably end up passing it backwards as there’s no-one providing an option forwards.

Partly in his defence, he was still always looking for the ball, and anyone in our team on the ball had f**k all options as nobody further forward were providing an angle for the pass. If your best attribute is passing and you don’t have anyone to pass to then your game’s going to suffer.

Like others have said, that’s as annoyed as I’ve been in a long time leaving Hampden. Literally no-one turned up. In my opinion our worst two players on the night were McGinn & Adams who have been massive players for us recently.

Slightly concerned about Adeloye liking a post on Twitter with a poll asking which player they’d like to sign, think it was a lower league French outfit or supporters thereof. Suggests he’s very much keeping his options open.

Just seen the new Dr Strange. I enjoyed it, half of it is basically that GIF of Leonardo di Caprio pointing!

Was a good laugh but reminded me that I’m definitely too old for 11-a-side and should stick to 5s! Can barely walk today.

Morbius was the cinematic equivalent of “meh”. Literally nothing happens. Enjoyed Peacemaker as others have said.

Taking Gilmour & McGregor out the team really removes our ability to control a game.

Thought it was a weird game in that we controlled large portions of it without ever looking like scoring. Morton didn’t massively threaten until they sussed we looked like conceding from every single ball into our box! Couldn’t see us getting back into it but they fortunately decided to defend a corner like we would! Didn’t get a great view of any of the disallowed goals although given the referee gave a free kick every time a Morton player fell over it’s no surprise he’d give a foul on the keeper for even a hint of contact.

Think I scored 3 in that game! I’ve played in 2 games and scored 5 in total, although that was when I was considerably younger and could run! Have stuck my name in for this one but can see it ending badly.

For the first goal McGinty let Lafferty bring down a long ball, Reading dived in and Murdoch got attracted to the ball instead of following the runner. Second one McGinty loses Lafferty who flicked on the corner. Not sure who lost Shaw at the back post for a tap-in, might have been Ashford. Third goal McKenzie lost his man at the corner. Every single one woeful. Killie’s delivery was very good tonight and we looked like conceding from every ball into the box. I like McAdams as a keeper but I wish he’d come for crosses, particularly those dropping into the 6 yard box. McGinty reverted to type tonight, for a guy his size he’s dreadful in the air. Fjortoft’s cameo was simply unbelievable. McInroy was probably our best player but not many with pass marks.

Much better the last half hour. Would have been nice to get a couple more to rub it in but in fairness McAdams had a few decent saves first half.

Adeloye’s been good since he came on but he’s got to score that and it’s game over.

Replay shows Lafferty running into Muirhead and these fuds are greeting about a non-existent headbutt. Lafferty’s a cheating w**k, simple as that.

We need to get players in and around Ashford today. Noticed yesterday that Arbroath play a fair bit of hoofball at times but they’ve two targets up top and a midfield that gets up in support very quickly. We’ve been shelling punts towards one poor bugger who’s in a different postcode to the rest of the team.
