Its not looking like a terribly thrilling last couple of weeks, given where it was a few weeks ago. Pretty much everything boxed off, or as near as to make it wholly predictable.

At this rate the only thing alive on the final day will be the race for 7th, which may or may not have a European place.

On another note, it sounded like yesterday they had no means of watching replays whilst covering rangers v killie live. Is there a reason for that?

Stuart McCall was looking over the shoulder of the 5 live guys for replays during VAR calls and it sounded so tinpot.

If the 5 live commentators had replays, that's a case of BBC Scotland not requesting TV screens as part of their accreditation.

Obviously not relevant for last week, but it may be that smaller grounds don't have TV screens in their press boxes. But Ibrox and Celtic Park do, because it's a requirement for the Champions League.

In this new VAR era, radio commentators really need access to live pictures so they can, at the very least, know what is being looked at, and then eventually what the referee is seeing when called to the monitor.

The game was literally on TV as well.

Even if it hadn't been live on TV, there's a live feed available from every Premiership game.

Because the likes of @craigkillie and @The Master are experts on this sort of thing and will give me a clear answer I trust. What's your issue? If you want to block my posts feel free.

I feel duty bound to point out that @Ray Patterson is probably more of an expert than I am!

I will however throw in a piece of useless trivia relating to the UEFA rights (qualifiers and Nations League).

Viaplay never actually exploited any of the rights that led them to launch in the UK in the first place (i.e. the 2024-28 international rights). The only international rights they ended up using were the ones originally bought by Premier (and similarly, the rights that Premier will be using from September were those 2024-28 rights originally bought by Viaplay).

The Premiership playoffs are the ones between the Premiership and Championship teams and the Championship playoffs are these ones. The club are correct with the rules on this one.

The official names of the three play-offs between the SPFL divisions (so not including the “pyramid play-off”) are:

    Premiership/Championship
    Championship/League One
    League One/League Two

The first of these is governed by one set of rules that expressly prohibits entry by season ticket. The other two are governed by another at of rules that doesn’t.

Inverness are in the Championship/League One play-offs. Season tickets are therefore allowed so long as the home club picks up the tab.

tl;dr - Inverness are either wrong, or being tight-fisted b*****ds.

Never offside there, your knee should not be considered at all.

They can’t just make up the rules on the spot.

It was a far clearer offside than it initially looked.
