It was that account that "leaked" the original WhatsApp messages no?

Were they ever actually verified as being legit or has it just been assumed as they kind of matched the story that ended up being reported?

They were released on Twitter pretty much at the exact same time as Gardiner was matching things it said on his radio appearance on an almost word for word basis.

This contradicts the previous messages though:

Eric Drysdale was in a chat with Gardiner etc.

    Now it's John Nelms personally.

Strikes me as a lot of shite.

    Yes, in December.

Hearts headed into mid-March four points adrift, 3 games from the split and, by a distance, the worst record in the league against bottom half sides. This was compounded by them losing their last game against a side directly above them without even threatening the goal.

They were down, and frankly I believe all promotions/relegations should be decided by me.

Green dot purely for the last line.

They'd won 2 games in 3 months, and had just lost to a relegation rival.

If you look at the Hibs result, and the games after, every club had started to pull away from them.

In the league they didn't win a single game in February, and had lost as many as they won in March, and their next game was away to Livingston, who just didn't lose games at home to anybody.

Everything pointed to them going down.

Everything pointed to St Johnstone going down at one point. You were even touting that Tommy Wright would be wise to take the Dundee job if we sacked McPake as he was done at St Johnstone.

There is so much of the season left to be played with 9 games left. As I said, there were promising results - A point against Motherwell and 2 wins against Hibs and Rangers respectively.

The month of February you paint as a particularly bad month -

They played 6 games. Progressed through to the next round in the cup twice - Beating Falkirk & Rangers.  They were beaten by Celtic and lost a fixture 2-3 against Killie whilst the other 2 games were draws. Hardly relegation material.

St Mirren are only ahead of Hearts in the form table due to the win on what will now be known as the last game of the season. Over the previous 5 games, they had picked up the exact same amount of points.

I'm not saying Hearts would've stayed up but to suggest that they wouldn't have and that if you think they would've you must be 'at it' is ludicrous hyperbole.

  4. Yes, it was Cook. Few pictures of the planned stadium upgrade:

There was also another proposal from one of our shirt sponsors.

Think he still posts on Dundee Mad to this day. He's a Hearts fan - can't remember his name for the life of me. Think it was the head of Novafone (I think).

His latest ideas were published on Dee Mad back in 2017 with us moving to the EFL and an underground car park:

TBF its true, even if you look at them since sacking Levein they were standouts for relegation.

I looked up the bottom half table for a relegation thread, and they'd collected 5 less points than anyone else in that time, and the next worse (Ross County) had two games in hand.

Anyone who genuinely expected them to survive at this stage is at it.

Were they not unbeaten in 4 games before the St Mirren result (Which on its own could've allowed them to leapfrog St Mirren) including wins against Hibs, Rangers (Cup admittedly) and a draw  to Motherwell included?

That's not relegation form IMO. With 9 games to go, I think you can only be 'at it' to say they wouldn't have survived.

Were you not thinking Tommy Wright should leave St Johnstone a mere 9 games before that?

Are St Johnstone difficult to manage RG? Despite enjoying my old days Man City save I would quite like to do one of these story threads for FM20 too but don't know who to go. Too far into my Clyde and Bolton saves to do a story on them from the beginning, only have brief updates of them over on the FM thread.

The podcast point is fair. It's no excuse for being a bigot though. Just means there's more bigots. He's a despicable c**t. I really hope you're not making excuses for bigotry.

What are you talking about? Your response to me was about him not making money, now I'm making excuses for bigotry? Jeezo.

He's an American 'shock jock', he talks a lot of sense in regards to wrestling and he's a good listen. He's saying things to get a reaction and it works for him. That has nothing to do whether or not I like him as a person - but he is a compelling listen.

Brings in the money? He's lost almost every job he has because of his views.

Jim Cornette's podcast is probably the most successful podcast in terms of views.

Taking Youtube alone and the videos that were uploaded over the past 24 hours:

    Jim Cornette views - 366,000

    Jim Ross views - 12,500

    Bruce Prichard - 10,000

    Vince Russo - 255

I'd say Cornette's podcast is the second or third wrestling podcast out there behind Stone Cold's and Jericho's. That's some feat considering Austin is considered the most successful wrestler of all time and Chris Jericho is was a world champion less than a few months ago.

He also has 701 patrons paying $5 a month just for early access to his podcasts which brings in around $3505 dollars a month alone.

Combine that with his merchandise sales, the views and downloads he gets from his actual podcast hosting site and safe to say he's doing well out of his schtick.

ETA: His estimated worth (Take this with a huge pinch of salt admittedly) was around $5million dollars.
