I think Peter Grant, Sula and Thicot were always on our radar. McLean brought in pretty last min as we were going into the Hibs game with only Aidan Cassidy as a centre half before him and Grant signed on the Thursday or Friday before.

I missed Saturdays game but by all accounts we were the better side and just couldn't take our chances. That'll happen sometimes to most clubs in the world. Did think it was bizarre that Jordan Allan never started right enough.

Will be interesting to see if Thicot comes straight into the side now he's available. The back 3 so far have been largely fine but I'd like to see McLean remain in the side and Thicot possibly coming in for Sula or P.Grant. It's just a welcome change to have good options after years of suffering Rumsby and other diddies.

Not disputing that but your home games have been around the 500 / 600 ,mark this season. Is that because some fans are reluctant to travel to Hamilton?

I've never known such a mentally unstable fanbase in my life than that of Rangers, even more so on social media. There was even someone with a profile pic of Graeme Souness ridiculing the challenge. The same Souness that done this

And...that big p***k got his token goal against us as per but I always assume we start -1 goal when he lines up against us
As per? He scored once in 6 meetings with Cove and can only remember a brace at Broadwood in his last couple of years at Peterhead. Mightve been a bit more prolific against us before that when we were rank rotten under Duffy.

Disappointing to lose a goal so soon after equalising but felt it was a fair result anyway. Cunningham was a lot quieter this week and as a result we had no real threat apart from our goal and a couple of chances near the end. Could be doing with another couple of bodies - left hand side an obvious issue and a striker with a bit of presence so we're not chucking Sula up top when chasing games.

Parry was excellent yesterday. Important saves at important times and (which I noticed last week aswell) seems more confident coming off his line.

What age is Gomis now? Remember him being really decent with the Hearts back in 2014 when they were in the Championship. Quality player.

Haven’t they still got the majority of the squad who won the LL? That quality of player only get you so far up the pyramid.
Suppose but a lot of them did sign for them from a higher level. Didn't think they'd be up challenging or anything this year but at the same time thought they'd be better than they showed yesterday. They'll beat Dunfermline next week now

Doesn't seem to be a problem so far.
Aye, McLean and P.Grant are probably as good as you'll get at this level centre half wise when you're part-time. They lack a bit of pace but more than make up for it in experience and reading of the game. Sula looks a solid addition and we still have Thicot to become available too. Bringing Ray Grant back is excellent business which has also made Gomis look like a different and better player.
Moving Cunningham up front this season has been a great decision too, something which actually partly annoys me as we've completely wasted him in the last 2 seasons playing him out wide. Showing far more consistency up front so far and has taken all his goals very well.

Significantly more money available to Kelty manager than oor Danny, aye? Bit of a riddy for them but a wee reminder how lucky we are to have a manager like Lennon. Yes, he's made mistakes but given the budget constraints he's worked a minor miracle in assembling what looks to be a bloody good team this year. Absolute hero.
Kevin Thomson was saying in an interview the other day that he left because he wasn't backed enough ahead of this season but aye I'd imagine their wage bill still trumps ours by a fair bit.
Despite having the better chances in the first half I thought Kelty were absolutely woeful today. Wasn't impressed by a single one of their players. League 2 must've been utter rancid last season.

The real question ahead of this one is has Thicot’s work permit come through yet?
Heard it's edging closer. Should be available for Alloa at home on christmas eve.

Is Allan suspended though ? I thought immediate automatic suspensions only kicked in for straight reds/violent conduct ? Could be wrong though.
Hopefully Duthie fit for this one, also looked like Kennedy and Cunningham suffered knocks last week. If all are fit I would be reasonably confident, however it is Clyde we are talking about here so who knows.
Pretty sure 2 yellows means you're out the next game.

Despite Keltys poor start they still have some good players. I notice Austin and Higginbotham haven't featured in their opening games so if they're still missing that's a bonus. Expecting McDonald to come in for the suspended Allan for us. Left back is anyones guess.
A win would be excellent but I'll go for another draw.

Quick question on the fanzone, do they accept debit cards?
My 2 boys wanted a pie at the stall yesterday and it was cash only, which they didn’t have.. (obviously old man had to bail them out as usual).
Aye I used my card in the fanzone.

Got to say I thought the crowd looked bigger but it does always seem it when you're looking along the stand you're in rather than at it from a different stand. It's still the summer holidays too of course so might've been several fans abroad or whatever. Let's see how it holds up in the next few weeks but I wouldn't expect a sudden rapid increase just because we're playing in a different stadium and agree with Scott that getting similar numbers to Broadwood at this stage is probably a more encouraging sign than a bad thing.
