That pre-contract has been torn up. Not signing for Berwick now.
I know Berwick signed Steven Anderson but is that the only reason why the Balatoni deals cancelled? Or did you realise from his loan spell that he's completely finished? Suppose it could be both

Conor Scullion - another legend of the Glasgow Cup campaign - also has two games for Fauldhouse so given our recent transfer record, it’ll be him.
Assuming no news is bad news on the likes of Cuddihy and Livingstone so we’ve got a lot of work to do when DL gets back from his soirée in Benidorm.
Think Cuddihy will stay tbh. Livingstone came onto a game more at the back end of last season playing further forward but the more I think about it the more I think he could be replaced if he chooses to go, certainly as a LB. His attitude off the pitch stinks aswell supposedly.

Young lad Lennon Walker (18) on loan at Bo’ness this year from Dundee United. Has looked a cracking player few times I’ve seen him. Bit of the Scott banks about him. Would love to see him in a Clyde shirt next season.
Don't know if you posted this because you seen it yourself but I noticed him among Dundee Utd's released list yesterday. You reckon he could play at L1 level after just being in Lowland? Would be a bit wary of bringing in project players after wasting money on the likes of Andrew, McGrath and Kennedy last summer.

Luton had a superb season considering their budget compared to the rest of the league. As a follower of Blackburn it's been difficult watching them shit the bed all of 2022 and see a team like Luton end up in the play offs (Forest and Sheff Utd's runs in the 2nd half of the season to get there worth a mention too) but they were there completely on merit.
Should be a cracker at the City ground tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed the first leg on Saturday. Nottingham Forest should've been out of sight but Sheff Utds late consolation keeps things interesting. Still fancy Forest to progress though and probably win the final too.

Wonder what EK were watching last season wanting 2 of our centre halfs (assuming Rumsby is indeed off there).

I'm still annoyed that the worst of the 4 options ended up winning the away kit vote.

Heard that about Rumsby too, he'd go with my thanks for his efforts the last few years but I don't think he's good enough for this level personally.
Hopefully 1 or 2 new faces soon... also interested to see who Airdrie and QP let go now their seasons done, most of even their fringe players were better than anything we had.

Seems like the Clyde fans quite like Ally Love.
He certainly become a fan favourite aye. Mainly for his ability to score crucial goals. A few in our promotion season including the penalty to ultimately win promotion, winner against Bonnyrigg in the cup to set up a tie with Celtic, final game of last season where we needed a win against EF to avoid the play-offs.
Probably shouldn't start every week but will do a job for you. Wouldn't have been short of offers either.

I can remember a Friday night game against St Mirren in 2003 (IIRC was Scotland v Holland play off weekend to avoid a clash), have we had one since?

I would have a go

Danny has been backed with a decent budget
DG won't be back either board saying it's time to move on from that chapter.
New stadium in the works with a couple of sites in Glasgow in talks with GCC with a view to having something substantial in 3-5 years
Still paying the same as we did for broadwood but more opportunities in the way of income from matchdays
We need to raise 162k over the next year to cover the loss budgeted for (would be less if we had cup run, bigger crowds than expected etc)
Players that have been offered deals have until this weekend to sign on again so Danny can move onto other targets
There's more I've probably forgotten
Did Diamond talk and/or PJ's laptop work this time?

Hope so, hes hopeless infront of goal...Runs about a lot but not worth the wage imo. He certainly wasnt POTY worthy so dont let that fool you either
Didn't even know he was your POTY so news to me. Can't say I know much about him but being able to run is at least an improvement on our last outfield signing from you!

Hearing we're signing Connor Duthie

Did the Edinburgh fans running on the pitch at the end know there's a 2nd leg?

Any chance of the Glasgow teams who've moved over from the Juniors to WoSFL joining in anytime soon?
This tournament has largely been a waste of time and unnecessary extra fixtures. For us anyway (and Thistle and QP judging by the line ups they've fielded in fixtures). With the current setup it's effectively a reserve cup. And with all the cups lower down the pyramid, would there be space in a WoS teams calendar for these games?
Having said all that, if the tournament continues then I would be happy with that idea to freshen it up. Might actually get some folk interested having a Pollok or Glens etc in there.

All too often Grant would over play and the result was that he gave the ball away all too often.
That's a very surprising thing to read considering he was quite the opposite in his first spell at Clyde! Simple and effective and read the game very well to make up for his lack of physicality.

Clyde updated to include the signing of Ray Grant and the departure of Kieran McGrath.

Russell McLean (available for transfer).
Looked a handy big player any time I've watched him. Wouldn't mind seeing him at Clyde.

That was some watch! Fair play to Murray for just throwing absolutely everything at it when the tie looked gone and it paying off. Was that 5 strikers plus Easton and Frizzell all on at the same time?
Fancy the momentum from that comeback will get Airdrie over the line and promoted.

And he's under contract

Was mentioned on another thread but wonder if Scott Wright may force his way in? Particularly if we go with a bigger squad
