Goodwin has already knocked us back, I actually forgot about that tbh. Whoever does eventually succeed Stubbs will have a similar Job to the one Jack Ross inherited from Alex Rae. Let’s hope we can identify someone who can do a similar job in sorting out the mess.

I’ve accepted our fate even this early in the season. With the utter shambles of a squad Stubbs has assembled i now have zero expectations for the season other than finishing in the aoutomatic relegation place. By the time Stubbs is shown the door it will probably be too late. Get Goodie on board and prepare for the championship with another re-build. That’s about as much as we can expect.

Tony managed the situation with ease when Jack Ross targeted players. He basically got the ones he wanted. Why all of a sudden do you think that all of the players targeted by Stubbs have failed to materialise. There’s one reason and it’s not Fitzy.

The question I find that I’m asking more often is, do we trust him to sign the players of sufficient quality that will allow us to be competitive at this level. From what I’ve seen with his recruitment , he gives me the fear.

Have you heard of any potential signings? It's all very quiet. Would not be surprised if we are done with this window. All off Stubbs Eggs were in two baskets. Gregg Stewart and Kenny Miller both decided on more established top flight sides. We are pretty much fucked with what we have.

Another central midfielder, further proof that Stubbs just stumbles from one disastrous signing to another. If it’s not jobbing fifth tier English players then it’s guys like Edwards who haven’t kicked a ball with their current club. I despair at Stubbs. You just sense that this season will end up like the one we suffered under Tommy Craig.

Gordon Scott is the man placed with the final decision of who gets appointed as manager. Fitzy Doesn’t have the final say in such matters.

How many players has he missed out on, its an embarrassment just how much damage he’s done in such a short space of time. The recruitment has been a disaster and mismanagement of the highest order. He’s clearly got no idea what he’s doing. Tommy Craig all over again. Get rid now.

Stubbs will probably stick Hodson in at left back when Paul McGinn recovers from injury. Hodson doesn’t look any better than Kpekawa from what I saw yesterday.

Stubbs Record at Rotherham was shocking, he looks like doing exactly the same thing with us. Substituting Kepekawa after 3 mins of the second half tells you all you need to know about his lack of man management skills. I now have the fear about him having any more dealings in this window, as he’ll most likely be gone for the next one when we’re rooted to the bottom of the league, with a new manager scrambling about trying to sign replacements for the substandard shite that Stubbs has left him with.

If you find yourself moaning to that level about your club given the level we operate, then he perhaps needs to find something else to occupy his time.

I reckon Stubbs will go with 3 and two wing backs. Depends on who else he manages to bring in before the window closes.

Willie Miller is an insufferable dullard who should be nowhere near any radio station. He’s worse than Chick Dung as a pundit.

I must be in the minority here but Baird for me is nowhere near good enough for this level. As are one or two others. Stubbs has to sort out this squad pronto or we are heading back to the championship in jig time.

That’s pretty much the feelings of the majority. I would love to see us go out and sign another experienced striker and a natural wide player. As far as the 3 non league signings go, I’m lead to believe that it’s more of a fitness issue than it is a question of their ability. Once they are at peak fitness level, then we can probably judge them on how well they can cope with the demands at this level. I reckon we might see another 2 players in before the weekend.

Does it really matter if a player comes in on a years loan deal or a one year contract, given that he can play in all of our games and not have to sit out games if he was loaned to us from another premiership side in Scotland.
