Kev Smith and matty and gregor didn't play and had knocks.
Callum murray came on 2nd half.
Farrell only player not to get on.
Thought the boys were terrific and again you can see the way that calum wants to play. Press energetic play with quality and have pace down sides.
Didn't deserve to lose however east fife have 2 top class lower league forwards and that was why they won the game really. We could have scored 3 or 4 easily.
New gk was calm and composed for a young lad has a good aura about him and his kicking was very good.
Hopefully the fans can see the development and the hard work going on to get a successful and winning team on the pitch. There's bag loads of quality and energy in this group.
Mon the cowden.
Yes, the keeper was good, was confident and his kicking was excellent ( something we've missed for several seasons)
All in all a good performance in a game we should have won.

My early prediction to go down would be Elgin. East Fife will do alright.
Not with that defence. Their centre half is a bomb scare.

East Fife
They have some zoomers in their defence. It was only a friendly but the Beasties will do well to avoid the drop.

So I heard from someone who was there, a strange one.
Was Alfie released or did he just want a change?

Sorry that Alfie has gone. Our best defender in many games.

but done now
Still no grammar? Unlucky. Folk might take you seriously if they could decipher your gibberish. Get your teacher to help.

you've made over 30k in bending over for the SFA and shafting other clubs. 30k, that's a massive difference for bringing players in at this level. anyone who believes you were invited is a idiot your club is doing favours
anyway your in now
Teach any grammar at your establishment?

I know the Viaplay Cup methodology in picking the coo.
They came on p&b went through the HL & LL threads to find which club if invited would cause a complete feckin nuclear fallout. Obviously they are avid p&b followers and fancied a few nights sitting with the popcorn out before the friendlies start back up. Simples.
Aye,you are.

yes, the directors of your club are that far up the sfa arse with the bending over for B teams and conference. the SFA would rather fund a poor performing club rather than awarding clubs in the HL or LL for doing well
its done now big target on Cowdenbeath's back if they don't succeed
Careful, you might get one too.

Some good news today. The recruitment side is more focused and well planned now. The boys coming in will make us better. Gutted to see lovey leave however the transfer fee given as well as Dan watt transfer fee all goes back into the playing budget and perhaps an upcoming signing that involves a fee.
There is likely to be 2 or 3 more signings incoming over next 2 to 3 days.
Pre season(fixtures) is fully sorted and training facilities all in place for the players and staff to get the best preparation possible.
I think and again I make no complaints about it. The more we can do as fans eg buying season books and signing up to supporters trust. Etc etc. Will be vital and could be the difference In helping the club.
Seen also yesterday the new home top as a sample and that looks great. Hopefully this will be something during June that can be launched also.
It's an Incredibly busy time and everyone from top to bottom is trying to make this upcoming season a better one.
Mon the Cowden.
Fantastic effort by yourself and others. What a difference from previous seasons. It's all good news from CP these days and at last we have something to look forward to.

The only real way you increase crowds is by putting a winning team on the park , I reckon we will be more competitive this season.
Certainly helps but sadly there doesn't seem to be much support from locals. Many of the fans we have don't even live in Cowdenbeath.

Re Dan leaving i'm quite sure Calum has a replacement lined up, at the end of the day we finished 15th and should be looking at players who can get us into the top half.
Personally I liked him and wish him well.
Aye, a poor man's Renton. Should never have let Renton go.

Good in his day but that was a decade ago.
Says a lot about recent goalscorers we have had. Wish we could find someone like that again.

He was there last season didn't do much before that he drifted around the west juniors. I presume he just retired.
Shame. Scorer of the best goal I've ever seen at CP and the only one where opposition fans (East Fife) applauded too.

Someone told me the guy who owns the Lochgelly race track has bought Cowdenbeath stock cars. Also said we are getting kicked out and moving to Venters Park.
No idea if any of this is true just saying what I heard
Is it that time of year again? Is that happening before or after Messi signs?

Just to change the subject. Anyone got any comments on the game?
Berwick looked very good when they beat us just a few weeks ago so yesterday's result is a pleasant surprise.

Looks like I`ll have to make the trek to CP next week.

Brilliant piece of business it would appear on reflection and having a more informed view of Callums history.
Aye, was wondering if he'd pass the Bewick test.
