    If this is true and players are on £1700/week then it is no wonder that they are in a mess. Even half that it is good money for mediocre players. How many other clubs in this league could afford that?

    Agree 100%. Beating the Rovers or East Fife will never replace beating the Townies. Ask any Cowden fan who was at CP for the 4-2 game. Such a shame that once again it's the fans who get shafted.

    Instead of players going on strike etc, why don't the fans boycott or even threaten to boycott a game.That should bring this to a head quick enough .

    You might have been better earlier on in the season but 6 points from your last ten games hardly backs that up. Cowden have had a bad run but if you think your form is great good luck.

    Rovers have played two more home games than Cowden and also played a game more. Cowden's away record is better, not by much granted but from what I have seen of the Rovers they are not any better than Cowden. Sorry.

    Sadly they are dying - is this the last roll of the dice? I do feel so sorry for the genuine Pars fans. This is horrible to witness.

    Aye, we all need the Pars to survive whether it's someone to support or some to dislike. Fitba wouldn't be the same without them.

    Cannot imagine fitba without the Pars. I don't mind giving them a few £ but not if it is destined for the current regime. This really is a terrible situation, hopefully something can be sorted soon.

    Levein, Mixu, Lennon and Cameron were all inexperienced when they got the manager's job at Cowden. They all did OK. The were all hungry and determined to do well. There are plenty of experienced "duds" available but that is surely a much bigger risk for the Rovers

    I wish him all the best too. Spoken to him a couple of times and he came across as a decent guy. Brave man though.

    Yes agree - surely they couldn't be demoted just one division after all that's happened?
