  1. Thought you guys were doing a "St Mirren" and stealing the few decent players we have left, any news?
  2. Different for Cowden as they don't know which division they'll be playing in next season. This isn't the case for your team (unless there is something a lot more serious going on) Don't think a chairman who refuses to speak to his players/manager is normal no matter what career you are in.
  3. Heard the interview with Queen's manager on the way up the road. The guy was devastated and said the chairman wouldn't speak to any of the players or management.Only three players to keep their jobs. What a way to treat your employees!
  4. Aberdeen don't have a board - they have a chairman who is more interested in making money than anything else. That is part of the reason why they are in such a mess. How ironic would it be if McGlynn went to the Dons, they get relegated, and the Rovers get promotion? This isn't that far-fetched. The Rovers are as good as any of the other teams I've seen. The Rovers board should try and get McGlynn to sign a longer contract and make it worth his while to stay where he is.
  5. Well you were discussing caretaker managers. McGlynn has done well for the Rovers, I don't think he is in with a shout tbh, well not if it's anything to do with local Aberdeen fans.
  6. The guy hasn't even had an intervew and you've replaced him. Don't think you need to worry though you'll have him a bit longer yet - win the league and it could be a different story.
  7. No - nothing excuses what Livy have done even if we have gained. They really should have been thrown out of football - for the good of the game. Your the ones who should be happy!
  8. No-one gives a toss about any of this. Any other club and we'd all be envious, but the cheats - no thankyou.
  9. How can a club that is bankrupt pay a fine - or is it just 1p in the £ ? That would then make it £30!!!! And you won't even get that from the fabulous five.
  10. Aye and you lot didn't get kicked out of football like you should have been.
  11. Do you ever actually post anything original other than your "one-liners"
  12. Good post but I think this will have fallen on deaf ears! They (Livi) really think they have been hard done by instead of "getting out of jail"
  13. And they are still offering full-time (or should I say fool-time) contracts! You have to hand it to them, they have some bottle!
  14. YOU ARE TALKING MINCE!YOU ARE STILL OFFERING FULL-TIME CONTRACTS - EXPLAIN PLEASE.
  15. Unbelievable that McDoog wants to continue full-time. At Cowden he wouldn't spend a penny more than he had to - how many years did we go without a light-bulb in the toilet, or anything being given a coat of paint. Something not right here!
  16. Poor things - Livi being "victimised" because they have so many players on full-time contracts and can't afford to pay them - it's a conspiracy.
  17. Don't bet on it! - apparently they were still touting full-time contracts ( or something similar) a few days ago. The magnificent five will cover the cost - or not? We'll see how dedicated they are now.
  18. Livingstone have a habit of treating other clubs and fans with contempt. Last season we were drawn away to Livi in the Cup. It was January - freezing cold but ok cause Livi have undersoil heating. As I was driving across the Forth Bridge on the way to the game it was announced that the game was off because no-one had switched the heating on! So it was all the way back to Aberdeen and back again the following week as the pitch had then thawed out. Hopefully now they can reap what they have sown - only one friend amongst all the posters on here. The quicker they are turfed out the league the better. It may not happen now but it sure as hell won't be long. And for anyone associated with Livi to breath the word corruption as if it were bad must be the biggest joke ever. Good riddance.
  19. Aye and the eejits were still signing players on full-time contracts after they were punted to the third (trying to apply pressure to the panel? "they won't drop us to the third cause we have so many players on full-time contracts") Any sympathy I had for Livi is long gone (I do feel for the genuine fans - we'll soon see how many there are ! and the players ) but I hope they get thrown out the league for the Shire fiasco - not one of Gordon's better decisions.
  20. Somehow don't think that will be required - Livi will be lucky if they can play in a junior league.
