Aberdeen Cowden

Great stuff that he's doing well, the lad is top notch. If Hartley can get a wee bit more speed out of him he'll go on to much greater things. When he played for Cowden it was worth the entrance money some games just to watch him.

Dundee fans, how is Greg Stewart doing? Wouldn't mind him back on loan.

Fowler made a big difference to Cowden when we got him on loan last season. Not because of his great play but he did get players motivated. His best days as a player are behind him, but how often do you get the chance to have someone on trial for the manager's job? He should have left himself out of the team as soon as he was put in temporary charge. Good luck to him I hope he gets it, don't think you'll be disappointed. Re yesterday, too many players didn't turn up for your team. Your central defenders were poor and the keeper looked very dodgy. It was only one game though. Not the end of the world.

How could this happen under McDougall's watch? Whatever else he is, he is a shrewd customer.

As long as Murray stays put you'll have much more to worry about.

McKeown is very fast, a natural left footer, has a great throw-in and gives his all. However, he isn't the best tackler in the world but a very good addition to your squad. He will be one of your better players.

Rory's throw-ins will get you goals. Hope that starts with the Townies.

How is Rory doing for you guys? Disappointed we lost him.

Surprised he has ended up at Forfar. Good player, wish Cowden had taken a chance on him. Jeffries seems unable to get the best out of some guys.

Wighton being linked with several teams. When he is on his game he is very good. His best game against Cowden was when he was up against McKeown who couldn't stop him.

Shame for Dumbarton but Murray has worked wonders for them especially last season. Cowden fans know only too well what happens when you have a wee bit of success. Good luck to the guy if he does go, seems too nice a person to be a manager!

Best was "Dunfermline showing an interest in Hemmings" just before the playoffs. Well that went well. Not like Dunfermline to try anything underhand.

Don't think Queens were "taking it easy" Hamilton showed what could be done. A team can get players red-carded, unlikely to get two or three but it's happened before.

Aye, it was a great end to last season when the truth came out about the big team and Alloa won the playoffs. It's been another fantastic end for Cowden after dropping the points which kept you guys up. Written off by many after the drawn game at CP and to go and thrash Jeffries young superstars with a team that wasn't any older, you couldn't make it up.

Livi were still in with an outside chance of reaching the playoffs when we beat them 4-0, no team every switches off in a Rovers/Cowden game and Queens had to get at least a draw to be sure of progressing. No easy games there. And the last time we played each other Cowden were certainly much the better team. All history now though and we can all look forward to next season knowing that our clubs will be a wee bit better off at the end of it. Good luck to Alloa anyway, I 'd love it if all three part time clubs could stay up.

Alloa were playing really well at the start of the season but awful at the end. There were only two players I would have taken from their team, Gordon, even though we have a much better central defender and the wee winger ( forgotten his name) We all see things differently and it was only goal difference that separated the teams.

Colin Cameron would take the job.
