  1. Where did I make light? What is being compared?
  2. So some types of hatred are okay? Got it.
  3. Watched highlights and we should’ve had two pens. But then I forgot we had the 12 man advantage.
  4. No child abuse scandals at Celtic Park? Sweep, sweep... Maybe if you weren’t paying out for having child abusers in the club’s employ and your club failing to act, then there would be no misheard chants? Sounds like the chants hit a nerve. No one at Celtic Park has ever chanted abuse, ever. Ya whataboutery merchants.
  5. I was going to go to all the away fixtures in Dundee, I’m not calling it a boycott, but now I’m not going to any of them. Just voting with my feet.
  6. Nonsense. Cardle has never dived in his life. If he starts any of that now, it will be purely Thistles doing. ;-)
  7. Some sort ....shy and reclusive, megalomaniac dictator or funky hipster?
  8. Your chance to make wild Nostradamus-esque predictions of glory or doom and can come back at the end of the season saying told you so to the naysayers. Up first I'm going with... Shankland, feeling unloved as a bench-warming squad player, takes to comfort eating and puts on two stone before Christmas.
  9. Without a ball being kicked... Target: Winning Championship Success: Premier playoff spot Meh: 8th or above Forgivable: winning relegation playoff Failure: 10th or losing playoffs These may need re-evaluation as season progresses
  10. Would you be allowed to attend given your conflict of interests? [emoji23] Maybe they were worried you'd show?
  11. On a more serious note about pricing. Clubs should look at incentivising season tickets more in order to stabilise income. As well as early bird which gets money in early, they could do the following... Season ticket add-ons e.g. Bronze includes home lower league cup ties. Silver home lower league cup games + home league cup games Gold all home games including friendlies. The pricing should reflect hat they'll turn out a bargain if we get a cup run (club will generate extra unbudgeted revenue if this happens anyway) and club also benefits if we don't get a run in a cup by getting cash up front. The other thing that could have been done is giving friendlies free with season ticket. Again this incentivises to buy a season ticket and buy it earlier. I would take a gamble on a "Gold" ticket on basis of extra revenue for club playing budget and greater possibility of a cup run as a result. The other thing that needs looked at is "away" season tickets. This needs to be reciprocated by other clubs for it to work, but it's main benefit is providing stability to revenue by generating a known amount at start of season. How this is distributed to the clubs is obviously up for debate and liable to be the sticking point of such a move. When games are called off through bad weather and moved to midweek it means less of a hit in expected revenue. Thinking about it, I should've generated a thread on its own for discussion.
  12. Should've charged £20 and we'd have been able to afford laying on extra staff and concierge parking.
  13. Coley reminded me a little of an on form Higgy, switching sides, passing and movement, orchestrating attacks. My man of the match yesterday.
  14. Oh if yeez had only spent that £15. Missing some entertaining football here.
  15. Kids tickets "a bit of a joke"? No, this was something that the club was doing right. Just a pity it's been abused. If you want to build/restore a fanbase, that's where you start.
  16. How can we fund better players if folk are moaning about what's effectively not even the price of a good pub meal? Mr Pink there, doesn't tip if it's non competitive.
  17. Which bit? If it's the entertainment part, I'll consider myself well and truly owned given source.
  18. £15 is not much, even on minimum wage, you're only having to work that amount of time to earn back your couple of hours of entertainment. Did I say entertainment? Must be the optimist in me that has resurfaced.
  19. Did you not get the memo from Ross to refrain from tenuously linking the club to serial killers. One trackie top was plenty.
  20. What? No gambling, gaming, women, beer, inability to walk past a kebab shop whilst under the influence or kryptonite? Not your average footballer then.
