Apparently Durmus did indeed pick up a knock in training, hence why he wasn't in the squad on Saturday. Him and Connolly on either wing should cause problems with their pace.

Even when watching the game, I winced as soon as he put in the tackle and it obviously looks even worse in slow motion. I think it's a red card and don't expect us to try and get it rescinded. It's a shame as I think we'd have won yesterday too. Oh well - we at least defended well with ten men and got a point.

I went a size up and it fits nicely, although I like my shirts quite baggy rather than skintight.

Erhahon and Fitzpatrick are good pals. Think it's more likely they're just out for a bite to eat but hope we're interested in him.

Although they're better in midfield Macpherson and Erhahon can play full back if required. They'll probably do this until we can sign more defenders.

I'd be shocked if we got Edmondson. He's very highly rated by Leeds and I'd expect him to go to a much bigger club than us or continue getting the odd game for the first team. Hope we get him! [emoji1695]

Assuming Kirky signs, Goody clearly considers Bairdy 4th choice behind Broadfoot, Gary Mac and McLoughlin. I like Jack but Goody's right. Those three are definitely better than Baird. Better for him to go get some football at a team he will play every week for.

I'd be pretty happy to stick with this squad and keep the money for January when we can strengthen any areas that need it (centre half when Mcloughlin goes back to 'ull for example).

My guess is that Gus had identified a certain type of player who would fit into Oran's style of play. Goody then came in and wanted a different type of player, one who was more suited to the pacey counter attacking style we are likely to play this season. Because of that, we've ended up a few weeks behind in our recruitment. We are right up to date now though. Hopefully we won't have a change in manager and style next summer!

Isn't Jason Naismith on the look out for a new club? Is better than Paul McGinn or Cammy Macpherson and could play centre half if required too.
