  1. was reading about the appeal of granny Lindsay Sandiford, another innocent drug mule who was caught in Indonesia with 4.8Kg of cocaine worth a street value of 1.5 million.

    http://www.metro.co.uk/2013/01/22/british-woman-lindsay-sandiford-sentenced-to-death-in-indonesia-over-drug-smuggling-3360987/

got me thinking, what streets are they referring to?

The Peru two were caught with 11Kg at a street value of 1.5 million!

How does that work then? Is it a quality issue or is the international smuggling of cocaine subject to world trade economics?

    or something

it costs more in indonesia than in europe.

only the elite are taking coke in SE asia, plebs just lose their minds on yabba.

  2. Indeed. Oswald, in the book depository, with the revolver, twice. End of story IMO.

    no chance.

oswald probably was in the book depository but there was more than likely a second shooter and some sort of plot within the cia to set it all up.

jack ruby, david ferrie, georges de morenschildt, the paines, guy bannister. there were far too many shady characters involved in this for it to be a lone nutter.

  3. The thing is the purity of the Meth is what makes Heisenberg who he is and what differentiates him from everyone else. It's the reason he is such a legend in the drug industry.

it's a nonsense conceit though. making meth is just a chemical process so the idea that he's the only person that can do it properly is a bit daft. also as huge numbers of scottish people prove every weekend the quality of a drug has little effect on it's value.

focusing so much on the quality of meth produced but so little on the effects of consumption makes very little sense to me.

  4. Don't know about anyone else but I was pretty disappointed with the latest episode. Gilligan justified Walt and Hank's confrontation last week by saying that they didn't want to drag it out and that there was too much story left to tell then followed it with an episode where not a lot really happens at all.

i didn't think there was much to it either. they seem to be ticking off mile markers towards the conclusion. walt-hank. hank-skyler. skyler-marie. hank-jesse. the skyler marie scene was extremely cliched.

the lydia scene didn't make any sense. why would she put herself in massive danger? how could the ayran brotherhood guys sneak up on the other mob without them noticing in the middle of the desert? i was also disapointed to hear more about the purity of meth, i was hoping they had moved beyond that.

  5. i agree with the post above. it's very easy when your away on a long holiday or travelling to forget what the real world is like and the girl from lenzie was obviously partying hard for an extended period which will effect your judgement a fair bit.

the grassing flatmate is a disgrace. think of all the poor 18 year olds heading for their first ibiza holiday who now have to convince their parents that they're not going to be lieing in a k hole for a week :(

  6. I suppose priests are used to believing a load of old bullshit. its not clear at what point they were threatened at gunpoint. In ibiza? In Morocco? In spain again? In peru? Whata load of old pish. They are royally fucked. Which Iis a real shame as it is corageous men and women like them that have given me some xcellent nights out

the idea that drug cartel's are kidnapping western girls in europe and transporting them to south america to get them to smuggle to drugs back to europe is beyond ridiculous.

hopefully climate change will eventually allow europe to produce our own home grown coca plants.

  7. I am willing to bet there isn't anyone who grew up in NI between say 1960 and 1990 who wasn't aware of at least one criminal, bigot, or terrorist, that they did nothing about.

what are you going to do?

look at jean mcconville, murdered with impunity on the basis of a rumour on the order of gerry adams. anyone with any sense would keep their head down.

  8. Extremely unlikely these two were set up as a diversion tactic considering the quantities reported being exported from Peru.

Probably more a case of them not following instructions and instead of packing it into condoms to be swallowed they thought it would be undetectable emptying some Peruvian coffee jars instead.

No doubt these girls are total party loving air heads and will pay for their stupidity by spending a few years in some shitty sweaty prison. Their lives are over as I doubt the authorities will want to be seen as taking a soft approach with them.

Anyone have any idea how money condoms it would take to swallow that amount?

swallowing five kilos of anything would kill most people.

  9. As for O'Grady, there's the reason for him retiring on Sunday.

o'grady's lies about only using once are only a wee bit less ludicrous than david millar's 'i kept the epo and syringes to remind me how bad i had been' nonsense.

  10. Back to the race. Froome bonking shows he is fallable.

But I'm surprised a few on here haven't complained about him extending his lead, even after being penalised 20 secs!

he didn't really bonk though did he? he still went up over a minute faster than rolland's winning time from 2011.
