WTF has happened to Summers? I want answers now!

After that horrible first half, for whatever reason, it was good to see the shackles come off and just go at them. Could`ve been 5 or 6 by the end. Craig Wighton scored 2 but could and should have scored at least 4. Missed 2 absolute sitters. Still, once him, MOH and Jak came on and Lewis moved to the wing we really looked the part.
Arbroath looked utterly done. There was no sign of any kind of "bounce" at all.

It can’t just be bad luck anymore with these injuries. Maybe I’m looking into it too much but there’s been a concerning amount of injuries and bad looking ones at that on our pitch. Plenty for us, that one tonight for Arbroath and 2 bad ones when Morton came here.
Am I overthinking it abit maybe?
Yes

Yes, been there and seen it all, not good enough really.
I can't be arsed looking. Can anyone be bothered researching his signings for us? Not interested in what he did at Dundee to be honest.

Wee quiz for you all; three current English Premier League managers have played at East End.
Who are they? One is very obvious and easy.
Moyes, Arteta and.....

I dont think for one minute that we,re doing it on a shoestring budget and I would think most supporters quietly question how its being done, I certainly do but for now all I and other supporters can do is enjoy the ride
End of the day the proof of the pudding will be the annual accounts

Not just experts when it comes to our players wages now the off field staff too. Jealousy ripping right out of everyone of yous.
There's a bit of envy, agreed. I wish we were 2nd in the league playing good football. Things are looking good along the road. Just disagree that you're doing it on a shoestring budget, that's all.

I'd love to know exactly who we're splashing the cash on... One striker from Livingston, A goalie freed from Hibs and a load of Championship/ league one players.
You do know that money has to be spent on people who do stuff other than kick a ball about eh?
I heard a figure last night for one non-playing member of your staff. Eye-watering.

Can you honestly see a big increase in budgets since they came in. If and when we start to have a dip in form I'm sure our fans will not question everything. Considering this is not a 1 year plan, it's longer term.
No I can't but i never said i could. Can you actually read?

I didn't.

Facts right there.

I'm OK with that to a point, to be fair. We've chucked money at it in the past and it didn't end well. Raiths "strategy" looks out of this world because they're winning most weeks. If and when their form dips fans will start to question everything.

This is a thing a lot of Raith fans do. They try to make out that we're all arrogant flanges who think we're a massive club and 'deserve' to be in the Premiership.
The arrogant word comes up all the time, as does the big club. The vast majority of our fans are accepting of our place in the grand scheme of things, there's always a few wallopers that every single club carries. However that doesn't fit the Raith agenda that we're all Billy big baws just because we sing a song about them being wee.

What a novel approach from the Raith owners. More clubs really should try this! FFS.....

These days there's always OTT reaction after a game like last night, especially on Twatter. That's fitba. Down the day after but by Tuesday folk will be predicting 3 nil victories.
The run we're on just now, everything gets called into question. Decent performance and win on Tuesday and most of it will go away. Til the next defeat.

Not wanting to sound bitter or anything but there were plenty on here questioning Ian Murray towards the end of last season if I remember correctly, before the change in ownership allowed him to strengthen his squad.
There's no need to be shouting for a change in manager. This is his first iffy run of form and he deserves the chance to sort it out.

Few of us really know exactly what both clubs are spending. From the outside looking in Raith invested heavily early doors getting players in that would be in demand. We waited and waited then picked up guys that were struggling to find a club, so would perhaps lead folk to believe that these guys were on less money.
Anyway no complaints tonight. Beaten by the far better team on the night.

He's an absolute liability. Hank Scorpio described him as like watching a player in a charity game. In the last match at Starks, he sold the jersey stepping off Easton before our goal. Tonight at the first goal, he looks like he gives up. He's an absolute embarrassment of a footballer and I'm delighted every time McPake plays him.
Christ what a state to get in.

Getting pretty sick of defending Chalmers. Yes he can play a pass but he's too slow & gets knocked off the ball too easy. The difference between him and the likes of Stanton and Easton tonight is massive.

thought that was just some trolling Pars erse that was on the wind up that.
I find it incredibly ungentlemanly & unsporting and smacks of desperation to beat us coming from McPake, if indeed it is true
Is there any truth in this or just made up internet pish?

It's hardly a massively unreasonable shout though.
If Raith were to go up and offered a contract, why would Edwards not consider it? He could get more money in the Premiership and could get more exposure, so potentially could then sign for a bigger club.
On paper he'd be an excellent signing for any bottom 6 team.
But I think you know he's fishing.

I must've missed that. Last thing I read was I'm sure before the Inverness game where he said he was "50/50" but would definitely make the next game.....I think
