It's hardly a massively unreasonable shout though.

If Raith were to go up and offered a contract, why would Edwards not consider it? He could get more money in the Premiership and could get more exposure, so potentially could then sign for a bigger club.

On paper he'd be an excellent signing for any bottom 6 team.

But I think you know he's fishing.

Still greeting about paying an extra £4 5 weeks after the match. Get a grip ffs. Don't think I seen one Dundee United fan complain about the price and there were far more of them at Starks. Nobody is forcing you to pay it. Can't believe anyone would rather sit in a house watching it on a shitey firestick than having a day out with your mates or family, a few pints in different town and enjoying the derby day atmosphere all for the sake of having to spend an extra £4.

    The state of you.....

Stop making me laugh.....I have to hate you and everything about you!!!!!!

I came back on to delete that comment as it was a bit out of order. I'm really not wanting to start an argument. I just don't agree with Raiths' policy & I'd be really disappointed if our board went down the same road. I'll leave it at that.

What? 😂 Of course they should.

With your home fans, there's a lot to think about. There's getting young kids in, subsidising families, incentivising season tickets, all that stuff that goes into building a really complex pricing structure to maximise your short term and long term revenue.

With away fans? None of that. It's a simple collision of two factors. How many people are coming, how much will they pay? If you charge £1 the stand sells out but you make no money. If you charge £1000 nobody comes. Somewhere in the middle is a sweet spot where revenue is maximised. That's all you're aiming for. They're away fans. There's no loyalty, they're not going to come back again next week. Like it or not, every club in the country is using away supports as a pure revenue generator to subsidise their entire operation. It would be ridiculous to do otherwise.

The tiered pricing and the higher than average adult ticket price have facilitated that.

Or......these 2 factors plus the serious financial investment in your club have allowed you to speculate & sign better players which helped you get off to a good start, leading to higher crowds at these home games.

I still don't think the fact you've had bigger crowds at these 2 games means it's OK to charge more for them, but I feel like you've made your mind up.....fair doos. Just a bit concerned as to where will it all end? Will we be paying £26 next time we visit Starks?

Pricing wouldn't have made it much higher though.  We've had well priced games to watch shite teams, in front of poor crowds.

We've had numerous people using the relatively high crowd to somehow justify the Raith ticket price policy.

The home crowds are higher this season because you're playing well and are currently high up the table.

The Dundee Utd game was the most expensive game to pay at the gate that I can remember at Starks Park, but the highest gate for years

The crowd was high because it was 1st v 2nd and Raith are flying high. If you were 7th and stinking the league out the home crowd would've been halved and most of you would be criticising your club for its poor pricing policy.

It was really noticeable in the derby earlier this season that there were objects being chucked at our players at throw ins and corners. Players are well within their rights to give stick back to fans who slaughter them. If you can't handle getting a bit back after dishing it out, and start to chuck objects, you can't be too surprised when folk start asking questions.

Correct & there's absolutely no excuse for chucking stuff on the park....but if players run up to that kind of section & try to wind up the fans in it, in this day & age, it can't come as that much of a surprise when some wee fannies think it's acceptable to throw vapes/lighters/coins/pies at them.

Not sure what the answer is. The folk who chuck stuff on the pitch think they are genuinely untouchable & above the law. Until they get caught, they'll continue to think this & if the club get fined they won't care. If the section gets shut, they won't care (they'll just move)

    Couldn`t go on Friday night.

Just watched highlights for the first time. Game looked pretty even to me as the commentators suggested. I was expecting 2 huge gk blunders for their goals so was quite surprised upon seeing what actually transpired. Moffat’s finish was so composed (again) and how good was it seeing Matty Todd back? Looked a penalty for the push on McCann.

United will win this league and Raith will probably finish 2nd and we`ve pushed them both all the way in recent weeks. Much to look forward to in the coming weeks

You can't get your head around looking at the team you supports form? I genuinely don't get what you're struggling with here. Do you have the same wonderment when you see tables and apps having "form" sections? Going on Flashscores and just baffled why there's a table at all when the only game that matters is the most recent one?

Just to be clear, I'm not talking about specific games which is what you've done there, I'm talking about our form as a whole. I don't see why you've taken any issue with that.

I just don't see the point. Even when we're on a good run I don't think there's any guarantees we'll win any game. Ever

How dare we discuss Dunfermline's poor form on a Dunfermline thread.

Apart from United and Raith, how is every other team doing form wise?

I don't think the manager will be focusing on games we played in September either.

Knock yourselves out if you want tho.
