  1. I am surprisingly being quite serious - I can understand the reasons for taking most of the previous players over the bridge. Never really understood Tokely BUT I am stumped at what they have seen in Chalmers. Good steady Championship performer but I would not class him as a reliable, Premiership squad player. He has undoubtedly gone for the spondoolicks and who can blame anyone for doing that.
  2. Does anyone think that Uncle Roy may have become overly obsessed with putting one over ICT ?
  3. You simply do not chuck away a Brazilian. Machado will be staying put. He is worth a few bob and that will only increase. The lure of more regular first team football will be the lure and his family are settled in Inverness. He has tremendous skill and talent but needs to beef up. There is more chance of the Mongoose getting a blow job from the burd in the piccy.
  4. I know that I referred to him as "The sweet left foot" and I think that he did have BUT he went missing for some games and parts of others. I still feel that he is more suited to be an attacking left sided midfielder. As a holding midfielder he was average and I feel that Trafford surpassed him in that role as the season progressed. I am actually surprised that Tinkerville have chosen him. I would classify him as a good Championship player but I doubt his ability to shine in the Premiership. If he was going anywhere else than over the bridge then I would wish him luck. I hope his luxury residential caravan home leaks.
  5. Perhaps or maybe or should we read too much into Donaldsons recent twitter post ? - "Been a pleasure working with all these boys this season! Disappointing way to end but we certainly have a lot of positives to look back on! See yous next season"
  6. As Sophia said I thought it was a WHOOSH to start with. It feels patronising to me and evidently successfully ingratiating to many. It feels more like a begging bowl appeal than a call to arms. I can even see the fans being blamed for not coming aboard.
  7. I am as intrigued that CTO has 3 new posters who are possibly all part of the board or the backroom brigade. The CTO appeasement appears to be part of a thought out plan. But is Sleepslagger the Good Samaritan or the Pied Piper. As more of an away day supporter I would be happy to go fer a direct debit but I would like to know where it is going and even if we attracted 500 we are only looking at an extra £1K a month.
  8. The latest CTO poster : Back in June 2013 another one of the Scottish stalwart clubs went into administration. Hearts went over the edge and were only saved by Ann Budge and brought back to life . After that the Foundation of Hearts was founded and since then it has grown and provided their club with a steady substantial income derived from their fans. This looks like sustaining Hearts for the future, as long as the governance remains as it is at present. My question is what is the reaction to a similar Foundation being set up ICT and being funded in a similar manner. eg by fans on a regular monthly basis. Any cursory glance at out accounts would confirm that to remain in the way we are, and have been, we have lost money over the majority of years we have been in existence, and what we require is a way to have financial security in a similar way to what Hearts have now, but have it in place before the brown stuff hits the fan . unlike Hearts did. Rather than re invent the wheel , take the basis of what Hearts have done and copy their best bits. This is a business that at present does not attract enough dosh and cannot continue for ever to incur losses, so we either find a wandering Abramovich with an open cheque book or prepare for the future with a sustainable model, in a similar manner to our Edinburgh cousins. Thoughts ?
  9. I hope that the courts are lenient and let Iain share a cell with Ricardo.
  10. Every picture tells a story - Two goals, worked his socks off and clearly pisssed at being hooked before an hour ?
  11. And the most predictable topic of the season award goes to...… HC or Shaun ?
  12. We have had a real shit feckin time since 1994 haven't we ?
  13. Well here is an interesting one. Gary Warren has recommended to BOTH Yeovil and ICT a 6 month loan deal for Yoann Arquin.
  14. I never liked Butcher but being an egotistical narcissist is not a bad thing for a leader. Plus he was a "name" and attracted players sometimes on that basis alone. But our scouting team were second to none at that time, Butcher bullied the Board into bigger signing on fees, contracts and wages but when a dictator is challenged then it becomes a personal battle and his "evil" personna took over. As for the current board they are utterly clueless about football. They were brought in to sort out the finances and try to bring the club back to an even keel. Others have sorted out the communication problems and if anyone is changing the football side it is Robbo, abetted by the likes of Messrs Esson, Tokely and Wilson.
