We will lose so many goals next season if we go with Devlin and Longridge as full backs. You can maybe get away with one of them charging up the pitch but both of them going leaves us so exposed at the back. I think Fitzwater needs protection to get through the game and he just isn't getting it in this system. Not sure if someone in the midfield isn't doing their job or if they're all charging forwards to get one of the hit and hope cutbacks from the right. Broken record but Devlin playing on the overlap is making me lose the will to live. Only two positives from today were that Kabia looks great and Stryjek is clearly a good keeper now he's being tested from a crap defence. Such a disappointing end to the season and I'm really not liking what this team has become.

JET seems to always play a blinder against Aberdeen so would definitely start him. If Nicky Devlin manages not to chuck another one in the net, I think we have a good chance.

I've been quite impressed with their coverage of our three games this season. £12.99 for a one month subscription (with easy cancellation) and access to their other content is good value compared to paying for a one-off PPV. Not sure why people expect them to not want Rangers and Celtic games when it's clearly going to net them the most subscribers. Also leaves room for the BBC to pick up the better games in the Scottish Cup or individual clubs in the case of the League Cup.

I guess it's better than cheering on Rangers...

We'll see. I think it would be hard for St. Johnstone to catch us if we better their result this weekend. Europe aspect obviously up in the air. We're all onboard the Hibs Scottish Cup train.

This weekend and next weekend are huge. 3 Scottish Cup wins from Hibs, Rangers and Aberdeen and we can be almost certain of 5th place making Europe. The following weekend, we play Aberdeen at home while St. Johnstone are away to Hibs. If we better their result, we are very likely to finish 5th place. If we don't, I'm far from confident we will.

JET was saying that Campbell admitted to him that he caught him. May have missed it but it didn't seem like he protested too much either? You could hear the hard contact over the pitch side mics. He did a pretty good job recruiting last time when Halkett, Gallagher, Kelly, Hardie etc. left so I have faith in him. Jack Hamilton coming back after banging in almost 20 goals should be massive for us.

Agree with every word. Steve Lawson is also, in my opinion, a better right-back. Longridge was really good again today.

Felt really good about us today with Max back in the goal. We looked so much better at the back until we got done overcommitting on an attack we should have scored from. I still have my reservations about the right side of defence but one battle at a time. Martindale basically confirming JET won't be at the club next season in the interview after the game. A shame as he's a real talent when he's on form.

That was just about the right result but still absolutely seething at Devlin fucking up our golden chance to make it 2-0. A lot happier with Stryjek in goals even if he is absolutely hopeless at penalties. Good luck to Aberdeen in the rest of the cup. Send us into Europe please!
