  1. Accies game rescheduled for Saturday 13th March. Happy with that even though it seems like we will be the only teams playing that weekend, as things stand. Maybe earmarked for the 2nd round round of the Scottish Cup? Probably not a good sign of getting that wrapped up this season.
  2. Scott Burns reported that they have appealed as well.
  3. We have appealed it and rightly so given we have our lack of centre-backs. Bad game for him but he's shown enough in games before now to show he can bounce back. I think the pitch had a massive impact. Not sure what his injury was but it was a bad game to throw him back into in hindsight.
  4. I initially thought it was ridiculous due to Serrano being able to come across to cover. Didn't realise how close Devlin was to the tackle! Atrocious call from a referee I usually like. That said, Fitzwater was playing so badly that I can't say we would have benefitted with just a yellow being given.
  5. Martindale said yesterday there were two people who had to isolate due to Reilly's positive test. Other one was probably Tiffoney or Pignatiello. They are apparently going to be driving to games in individual cars for the rest of the season to minimise the risk of this happening again.
  6. Kamberi available for Aberdeen yesterday so Diani's work permit decision must be very soon on that basis.
  7. I'm not sure I'd make big changes but I imagine they'll be experimenting with a three in training so that we can potentially match up with St. Johnstone. I think Reilly is very likely to start next week based on Robinson's back spasms.
  8. I think one more win will do for top 6. Would be great to get that next week and build momentum for the final.
  9. Disagree, they could have had 6 or 7 if they had punished all our mistakes!
  10. Yep, totally agree. Bad call but can see why they didn't immediately put on Poplatnik given he's not played since December.
  11. Pitch was so heavy and we dealt with it by being slow off the mark and trying to pass it round the back. Martindale has to take the blame for that and not telling them to go long much earlier. Fitzwater and Devlin were absolutely diabolical. Bartley, Sibbald and Serrano come out of it with credit but everyone else was varying degrees of shite. Well done to the United centre halves who rarely looked troubled all afternoon.
  12. Said it a million times, Nicky Devlin has no footballing brain whatsoever. Playing like a fucking clown and at fault for both goals. Fitzwater so far off the pace as well.
  13. Think so. If the Scottish Cup is goosed, then they will probably move the Hibs game forward to the 13th.
  14. Hopefully rescheduled for next week or week commencing 8th March. Edit: Accies playing St. Mirren next week so hopefully week commencing 8th March for this game.
  15. I am nowhere near West Lothian but this game must be in doubt due to the temperatures?
  16. Yes, I used the free trial to read it and was not disappointed. Great stories about his man management and getting his coaching badges.
  17. As long as the manager of the month award is sponsered by Glen's, we will probably continue to win it until the end of time.
  18. Think a lot of that stat was from the start of the season under Holt. There's been a definite step change in our set piece defending under Martindale which was obviously hindered yesterday with the absence of Guthrie, Brown and Serrano. Hurts to see Brown didn't even make the Cardiff squad yesterday when they were so keen to recall such an important player for us Yeah hopefully he gets a run in the team. As Martindale said, it would be a shame for him to miss out on the final if he's nowhere near playing for them.
  19. Sore one yesterday but I think my tongue-in-cheek comment about St Johnstone being favourites due to our injuries ultimately became reality. Two more games to get through before we are out of the horrendous scheduling. Martindale summarised it pretty well for me. Neither team played great but St. Johnstone defended better than we did and deserved to win as a result. They were better than us in the press as well which rarely happens and credit should go to them for that. Positives are that despite this, we could have grabbed an undeserved point with Robinson's missed header at the end. Pittman was our best player and looked really up for it. We were a bit unlucky that the referee didn't play advantage on the occasion he broke through their midfield. Lawson would have had a great chance to put us ahead if the play had continued. Very obvious lessons to be learned for the final (if they weren't already telegraphed from their semi-final), hopefully we will have all of our best players back for it.
  20. We apparently concede the highest percentage of goals from set pieces in the league. Obviously our goals against is pretty good (6th best) so that may reflect how good we are at defending in open play. I echo your first sentence, we are suddenly looking a bit light in defence and midfield from out of nowhere! Hopefully Guthrie and Fitzwater are back in on Wednesday, I think they are our best two at the back. Diani's work permit coming through would be a great boost as well.
  21. Injuries piling up after our run of games. St. Johnstone are huge favourites for this.
  22. McMillan can play centre half, if needed. Very much bare bones in that position but hopefully the injuries clear up before the final. As Durnford says, the schedule gets slightly less hectic after the DU game. What I don't understand is why we are playing all these games bunched up now with a gap of 4 weeks currently between our 33rd game and the first game of the split. I imagine this is potentially for the Scottish Cup (and a Scotland game) but would be good to get this confirmed.
