Surprised no one had started this already! Really looking forward to this, particularly now that it has been confirmed by Livi that we will be able to watch the game via St. Mirren's PPV service. Came in and did well in his first game against Hearts. Since then he has been injured for a long period then came back in without really impressing. Not sure if he's best at right-back or centre-half. I'd probably say the former on the basis of his good appearances but he was absolutely roasted in that position in a game against Motherwell at the end of the season. Hope he comes good but he needs some game time and an experienced player/coach to learn from.

Yes, I think it is a good opportunity for him to improve in a better league. The poster making the comment said that Holt said Lille was a step down which was inaccurate.

Holt actually asked whether a move to Lille was a step up. I am not a French football expert by any means but based on a quick search, Lille are typically a team challenging for Europe in the league and one that struggles to get out of the group stages when they do make it to the CL & EL. Rangers are ranked higher in the 19/20 UEFA coefficients. Morelos will undoubtedly get more money there but for me, it's not an outrageous statement.

Morelos to Lille for ~£20m seems very possible now. I was pretty confident that Dykes wouldn't go to Rangers but if they have a lot of money to play around with, it wouldn't be as much of a shock.
