Conjecture is usually from incomplete information?
Makes for some interesting reading, but, I’m not sure their figures align with the published accounts offered.

Didn't impose himself on the game really at all. But same could be said for all of the midfield 3 bar a few moves where they did venture forward to try and link up the play.
As I referred to earlier in the thread - the tactic not to press higher and box to box stifles.
Those who followed reserve matches pre-pandemic will back up the attributes he has.

A few weeks ago we mentioned Turnbull, Campbell and Gorrin (Lambert, Davies and Dolan for older yins) being one of our best midfield threes.
I didn’t see any of it but Maguire, Crawford and Cornelius must be up there with the weakest on paper. I could accept one of those three with 2 new additions. When the tactic is not to press higher or go beyond your forward line, no matter the personnel you’ll struggle.
Up against a 5 tonight, they’ll be dizzy from doing dog runs all night.

We seem to be signing Matthew McDonald who was released by yourselves over the summer. Does anyone know much about him? From what I've read he's a right-back but we'll be using him in midfield. I see he made the bench once or twice but doesn't seem to have played any first-team games anywhere. The last young right-back we signed from Motherwell turned out pretty well for us, so hopefully this is the case here too.
Kid can play, make no doubt about that. Injured at the wrong stage of development & last years’ lack of opportunities didn’t help - and I don’t mean first team ready before some jump on that comment.

Plenty of reasons it could still have fallen through after that, to be fair. Maybe wanted too much money, or didn't get on with Liam's wife.
Christian Manzinga was seen as the better option…

For me, the strengthening of 12-18 is a natural progress achieved by adding quality to the first eleven. The drop off naturally strengthens the positions desired rather than a focus on signing fodder.

That would be a miracle

Am I imagining things or were there not some hush hush rumours about Watt a few weeks ago?
1 hour ago, Well Well said:I heard some weird shit he had been asked to leave at the end of the season but put it down to bullshit. No way would we ask someone who was our top player last year to go unless he was being sold. Bit embarrassed posting it to be honest
Nothing in the second passage quoted is near correct, you’ll find the story suggests not everything in the garden is/was rosy though.

Woolery is one of the ones I mentioned on trial along with ex Spurs youngster Shayon Harrison. Malta international is Joe Muscatt.
Aye, and most knew they are all residing at The Moorings going by various chat groups last night.

Yes he may not play again...
Stop it. There’s little mileage in that.

It’s nothing along those lines at all. Kelly is a forlorn hope I’m told.

I’d discount Carson. Bigger picture

Did he mention one specific name of the page or 2 where multiple names were being rhymed off?
Turn it up. There was a clue, some made the link, some obviously haven’t even though the name was posted. He’s among others they’ll run the rule over. 6 today for example.
Let’s see if our Head of Recruitment looks beyond where he’s been employed and former charges.

Just say both the names? It’s a fans forum where most things on here dont go further than on here or Twitter.
Behave. One name already given away on here. The other has been around the club, featured on some players’ social media…

Quite possibly...
Game given away a few days back? Add in the ex-Liverpool youth who’s been around the club for some time.

Or maybe the leaks that were coming out of FP have been "plugged" figuratively speaking.
There will always be a drip feed of information which isn’t rumour.

Just stop it. The name’s already been given. Just one of a few they’ll run the rule over

Certainly not an ex employee.

Trying to figure if this is good or bad, swaying towards good. So I'm gonna hope it's Gboly Ariybi who seems to out of contract according to transfer market.
I’d say the knicker wetting I've seen online with a lack of recruiting will go into overdrive.

Sadly the usual nonsense you see at every club. Supporters will react with joy at any early signings only to state they are useless and we jumped in too soon without doing due diligence. We got the signing in early the last two summers and that failed to work out well. Alexander prefers to take his time and wait for the right players, quality over quantity. Two different approaches and we will see if the latter works for us at a later date. It’s never about when they sign, just who we sign that matters in the end.
Wait till you see the groupie reaction to one body we have in training next week...

We’ll be linked with all those lined up by our new Head of Recruitment in his previous role.

Is it not the cas that staying in Scotland is a serious option for anyone until they are offered triple the wage down south?
Not when the lad had ambitions to move to England as his next stage of development - not a paper quote, that’s direct from him.
I’d discount anything claimed by the Hearts fan on that post.

You had me confused with that one but I live in Glasgow and then remembered everyone else is allowed to do that sort of thing.
Is he local anyway or is everyone just going to put 2 and 2 together and decide he's signing even if he's just meeting a few mates for beers? His lass and her family are from that neck of the woods.

Been pilloried elsewhere for similar comment. He’s neither our best central midfielder or centre half.
Competent display on right side of a back 3 before reverting to type last season.
