See Hussain name checked. Wouldn't be too concerned as I'm pretty sure he would be an upgrade on Bevis. That said if a change at LCB is to occur I can see Devine being brought in as he has more experience. Then again the shout for Johnston or perhaps Robinson might be a goer at LB allowing Lamie to return to centre of defence.

As for Donnelly being the ' self isolater' I thought it was a non first team player!!!

As for Wednesday I can see Hylton replacing Hylton and I feel we will get a big performance from O'Hara .

Expect an attritional game with us either sneaking it or a 0-0.

Not quite sure where to start. How can you see Devine getting the nod at LCB? Some first team experience on loan - certainly not left sided.

A shout for Johnston? Not seeing that at all, especially at his young age.

A big performance from Mark O’Hara? Clutching at straws...

Apparently the bounce game against Celtic isn't happening tomorrow - for unspecified reasons. They're playing Ross County now.

Which is fine tbh, i know we've got a fairly stacked squad and could have put out 2 fairly competitive XIs if we wanted to give some a 90mins but 2 games in 2 days with a 3rd during the week against Rangers seemed pretty ambitious when Robinson mentioned it the other night.

    Accies today.

Think you’ll find it was to be amongst fringe/development players on both sides

You are correct regarding Johnson but before lockdown we were definitely enquiring in it. Moult thing seems to be a possibility of it happening, was mainly in and out of the team and as you said he’s basically been out all season. Would only be a loan for the season. Nothing may come of it but there’s interest from our part.

Just stop. Not wanting to give others a giggle at any scoop delivery, but, you’ve outdone yourself here. There is zero possibility, nor was there an enquiry made and that’s from the man himself 😆 In for a clean up operation this coming Tuesday.

Naming the others is the stuff of Pinocchio.

I’ll be discreet on who’s been training. Oh! There was two players having their pictures taken in the lead up to Jake Hastie being announced. But, you’ll know that...

Think it's the transfer thread over by. Theres some lad on there who thinks himself as thee ITK until big Marv swooped in and the two went at it for the top spot.

I hope Marvs not ditched it. That transfer window a while back when he rose from the ashes like a clued up phoenix was one of the  best times on here.

No he doesn’t. And has never claimed to be...

It’s easy to stick out dated info on there as ‘exclusive’ and the sycophants lap it up.

Given part of our problem has been distribution from the back I'd say dropping Donnelly - who can ping a pass - into a nominal role between the two centre backs kind of works. If Carroll is out for a length of time Aarons was an actual left back/wing back at Newcastle.

    Something along these lines:

Actually, is that not roughly what we had before Tanner's knee fell to bits with him playing off Nadir and Main and a back 3 of Dunne, Aldred and Kipre?

Given part of our problem has been distribution from the back... I'd be inclined to give Carson the nod. Only thing I can fault him for, distribution from Gillespie is slow and laboured.

I'd be very happy indeed if that was the case. Is this a recent development? The last I heard (sometime last year) is that PKC were supporting its disposal by DB for housing.

Part of the delivery team, definitely the case. I don’t believe it to be anything new either. This was to be constructed under a  multi asset framework agreement (MAFA) with the funding now in place for enabling works post the demise of a major contractor.

This is state-owned land that Network Rail doesn't need any more and which is being tidied up with a view to selling it for housing.

The good news is that the taxpayers will receive the sale proceeds to plough into services for the good of the nation.

The bad news is that it won't be the Scottish taxpayers but the Germans. Isn't privatisation wonderful?

Not wanting to piss on your parade... it’s not being tidied up with a view to housing at all.

Currently around GRIP 4 stage for development of Railway Investment Projects. It’s to be a modern rail depot with enabling works commencing late February early March.

I remember us being linked when he ended up at St. Johnstone, but I can't see it happening now.

Seems a similar player to Tanner, and from what I believe (calling @capt_oats for stats please) his goal return/assists are nowhere near what #CT27 has produced.  Albeit the wee man is injured just now, but is due back in the next 4-6 weeks.

Tanner himself not expecting to be back until December...

Might well be wrong but from what I’ve heard he has no intention of coming back(at this moment in time anyway).

He was desperate to get off of the sinking ship that was Bury, we needed an experienced centre back to replace Hartley who was struggling with injuries and had a suspension looming  - It was a perfect short term solution for both parties.

Imagine after his impressive form for us he’ll get himself a move closer to home if/when he leaves Bury. We’ve hopefully got a fully fit Hartley to slot back in for the start of next season, everyone’s a winner.

Going by what’s been said about him, I actually reckon this boy Donnelly’s been signed with one eye on Kipre leaving in the next 6-12 months.

    Hammer. Nail. Head.

Do you think the manager is correct in his thinking, or are the aforementioned players being hard done by in your opinion?

Hard done by. He's definitely not scaled the heights and looks unlikely to secure a starting berth anytime soon, I don't think I'm the only one who wishes to see more. Despite some of his peers turning in poor performances Ross MacLean hasn't been given the chance to kick on as others were.

Ultimately, as much of a blow as this is, this is what squads are for.

Guys like MacLean and Bigirimana, you'd imagine, have been waiting and asking for their chance in the team, now that Tanner is out, it's entirely down to them to step up and show they're capable in there.

The devil will be going to work on ice skates before the manager gives the players mentioned real opportunity.
